The Games with Gold program of Microsoft is back with the second round of September games for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold members. As being a part of the ongoing subscription, Gold members can now claim Mulaka for Xbox One and Samurai Shodown II for Xbox 360.
As usual, these classics come with backward compatibility support, allowing later consoles to also play them natively. Mulaka is available to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S owners, while Samurai Shodown II is available across both those consoles as well as the Xbox 360.
Use the links below to directly claim the games while using a Gold-active Microsoft account:
Mulaka (Xbox One)
Dive into northern Mexico's breathtaking landscapes with Mulaka, a 3D action-adventure game based on the rich indigenous culture of the Tarahumara. Renowned for their impressive running abilities, embark on the journey of a Sukurúame - a Tarahumara shaman - as you fight back the foulness corrupting the land, while drawing upon the powers of demigods.
Samurai Shodown II (Xbox 360)
This title is the 2nd in the series of [Samurai Shodown] which was the pioneer of the sword-fighting game well known all over the world.
For those who hasn't grabbed the earlier wave yet, the Xbox One title Warhammer: Chaosbane is still available as a Games with Gold freebie. It is going away on September 30 to free up slot for the yet to be announced October games of the ongoing promotion.
Keep in mind that Xbox 360 games claimed via a Games with Gold promotion will continue being available even after an Xbox Live Gold subscription is discontinued. However, claimed Xbox One games are only playable while the account has an active subscription.
