Microsoft adds three more games to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Microsoft added three more games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list today, including Beat'n Groovy, Mega Man 9, and Mega Man 10.

2017 has been a pretty big year so far for fans of Capcom's Mega Man franchise. Last week, the six original games were released for iOS and Android, and now you can play some of the newer games on your Xbox One.

Earlier this week, Microsoft added seven games to the list, giving a total of a whopping ten for the week. This should bring the Backward Compatibility list up to 319 games.

Here are today's new additions:

Beat'n Groovy ($9.99)

Try the FREE demo of BEAT’N GROOVY™ and let the energy of the music flow through you.

Mega Man 9 ($9.99)

The wait is over! Everyone's favorite side-scroller is back! Mega Man returns to his roots with a new adventure in classic 8-bit style!

Mega Man 10 ($9.99)

Thanks to the support of all the fans, we at Capcom are proud to announce the release of Mega Man 10! Now fans of all ages can enjoy the newest entry into this historic 8-bit franchise. As a special service to new players, we added an Easy Mode - a first for a classic Mega Man game! We also have some special treats in store for all the fans. This time you can play as Proto Man and try out Time Attack Mode from the beginning. You can also watch play-through videos from players all over the world.

If you're looking for new games on the cheap, don't forget about Games with Gold, which offers Xbox Live Gold members four free games (two Xbox One and two backward compatible Xbox 360) every month. You've only got three days left to claim Outlast (Xbox One), which was among last month's games, and The Cave (Xbox 360). Also available all month is World of Van Helsing: Death Trap (Xbox One).
