Nintendo is bringing Pikmin, Kirby, Minecraft, and more to the Switch and 3DS

Today, Nintendo released a new video in its 'Direct' series that showcased what the firm has to offer for the coming year for its 3DS and Switch consoles. There was, without a doubt, heavy anticipation for what new games would arrive on the Switch, but Nintendo also made sure not to forget its smaller portable, the 3DS.

In the coming months, the Nintendo 3DS will have some strong titles to offer with the likes of:

  • BYE-BYE BOXBOY! - available now
  • Culdcept Revolt! - August 29
  • Ever Oasis - June 23
  • Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia DLC - to be announced
  • Hey! Pikmin - July 28
  • Kirby's Blowout Blast - summer 2017
  • Miitopia - to be announced
  • Monster Hunter Stories - fall 2017
  • RPG Maker Fes - June 27
  • Team Kirby Clash Deluxe - available now
  • YO-KAI WATCH 2: Psychic Specters - fall 2017

As for the Switch, Nintendo will release first party titles like Splatoon 2 and ARMS, but will also offer a variety of titles from third-party developers. The full list of upcoming titles can be seen below.

  • Disgaea 5 Complete - May 23

  • Project Mekuru - summer 2017

Along with all the aforementioned games, Nintendo will also be releasing several new amiibo for Splatoon 2, Hey! PIKMIN, The Legend of Zelda, and Super Smash Bros.
