Soulcalibur VI coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2018

It has been five years since the last release of the last Soulcalibur. In a surprising announcement, Bandai Namco revealed that Soulcalibur VI would be coming to consoles and PC in 2018.

Soulcalibur is considered one of the best fighting games of all time by many. You might have forgotten about the title since the last one was made available five years ago. So, it came as a bit of surprise tonight when Bandai Namco announced the release of a sequel at The Game Awards.

While there isn't much information available at the moment, Soulcalibur VI looks to be powered by the Unreal Engine 4. In the brief trailer, we get to take a look at some of the environment with its fighting stage, with a short sight sequence featuring Mitsurugi engaging in battle with Sophitia.

While there is no set date yet, the game will arrive sometime in 2018 and will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
