The yearly Steam Halloween Sale has once again come online, featuring a host of spooky horror games at various discounted prices. And just like last year, some horror movies have also joined in on the fun with discounts. Note that the sale prices can jump around a bit for the first hour or so, as is tradition whenever a Steam sale begins.
Some highlights from the sale include Alien: Isolation for $11.99, SOMA for $7.49, Resident Evil 7 for $29.99, and Outlast for $3.99. Also, the Telltale Everything Walking Dead Bundle ($28.98) and the Amnesia Collection ($3.49) could be excellent pickups.
Virtual reality headset owners who may be interested in tormenting themselves with a horror experience should check out the sale's Horror VR section; eerie VR gems such as The Brookhaven Experiment, Narcosis, and Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul may be worth looking at.
All in all, the selection and the discounts are pretty decent, but the upcoming Autumn and Winter sales could feature even deeper discounts. Since other popular PC game stores such as the GOG store have also begun their Halloween sales, always try to have a look around before making a purchase.
