A new patent filed by Microsoft has been published recently. This gives people a closer look at the hinge mechanism for the company's allegedly upcoming dual-display Andromeda device.

The hinge would allow a dual-screened device to work similar to a laptop, or be laid out flat to join the two screens, or even folded backward in a tent mode design to act as a nighttime display.
