The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout: NV are now available DRM-free on GOG

In a surprise move, The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, Fallout 3 as well as Fallout: New Vegas are now available to purchase on GOG. As with all games available in the PC games store, these Bethesda titles arrive completely DRM-free.

The new arrivals are the game's complete editions, essentially meaning they contain all post-launch content in addition to the base game. This is a huge amount of content to the already staggering volume of gameplay possibilities these Bethesda titles offer.

In celebration of the new additions, the entire lineup of Fallout and Elder Scrolls games available on GOG are now on sale, which will last until June 6, 1pm UTC. A great opportunity for anyone interested in experiencing the critically acclaimed grand RPGs on the cheap side.

Although slim, there is a possibility these games will make use of GOG Connect, where GOG users get DRM-free copies at no cost if they own the Steam version, but no such announcement has been made yet.

Keep in mind that GOG generally updates games to run on modern operating systems such as Windows 10 when releasing games on the storefront. In effect, the GOG versions of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, known for their unstable performance on newer operating systems, may run much better.

The new entries' store links and prices are listed below:

Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition - $9.99

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition - $9.99

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition - $9.99
