After a few leaks this month, the moment has finally arrived. Later today, Razer will be announcing a new product, with many speculating that it will be a new smartphone.
For Razer, this will be its first smartphone and it will certainly be entering a crowded market that is occupied by veterans like Samsung and LG, while also competing with newcomers like Essential. Despite there being an abundance of high-end smartphone offerings right now, there is certainly always room for one more, if the product is right. Since Razer is known to be a gaming company, it will be interesting to see whether the firm will release a device that caters towards this demographic.

Luckily, we won't have to wait long and will be able to catch it all live in a matter of hours. Razer will be live streaming their presentation and showing off what comes next at 1PM PT on Twitch. As for rumors, the handset could arrive with a fairly robust set of specifications that could include a display with 120Hz refresh rate, 8GB RAM and a 4,000mAh battery. If this all pans out, Razer could offer quite an enticing handset fairly late in the year.
