Although an unfortunate leak from last month ruined the surprise, Sega went ahead and officially announced Two Point Campus during the Summer Game Fest Kickoff event today. See the first trailer up top.
Being developed by Two Point Studios, the minds behind the hit management game Two Point Hospital, this new venture has you building and running a campus environment, being responsible for molding the lives and minds of your students. Unlike in the previous game, the great outdoors is your playground to make your campus grounds, buildings, and surroundings, as long as there's enough money in the bank.
As usual for the humorous series, there are some quirks involved. Unusual courses like Knight School featuring ousting and chivalry training, and Gastronomy with oversized cooking projects are available for enrollment. Taking care of students outside of school is also a big element here, so you will be making sure they are making friends, and participating in extracurricular activities like sports.
“We hope that the incredible Two Point community will love all the new creative freedom that Two Point Campus will bring and that new players will be intrigued by its setting and the quirky world we’re trying to build, packed with our trademark humour and charm”, said Two Point Studios co-founder and creative director Gary Carr.
Two Point Campus is releasing across PC and console platforms sometime in 2022.
