Windows 11 build 22621.2500 has added two more features to Release Preview version [Update]

Update: October 23 2023: Microsoft has added two more features to the Windows 11 build 22621.2500 Release Preview build.

[ADDED 10/23] New! We are beginning to roll out digital handwriting (inking) in some edit boxes for Windows Ink. Also, the recognition technology is more accurate. There are gestures to delete, select, join, and split words. You can also gesture to insert a new line.

Note These improvements support English (U.S.) only. Broader language support is coming soon. To manage this feature, go to Settings > Bluetooth and devices > Pen and Windows Ink.

Original story - Following the release of Windows 11 build 23565 in the Dev Channel on October 11, Microsoft pushed out another update to try. This time, for those testing early Windows 11 updates in the Release Preview Channel. Build 22621.2500 (KB5031455) is now available for download with Search Highlights changes and minor adjustments and fixes across the operating system.

What is new in Windows 11 build 22621.2500?

New! This update affects the search highlight gleam in the search box. When you select the gleam, a Bing.com page will appear for the daily search highlight. This is available to a small audience initially and deploys more broadly in the months that follow.

This update changes the English name of the former Republic of Turkey. The new, official name is the Republic of Türkiye.
