Horrible acting by McConaughey -- his damned whispering.

 

I don't know what Matt Damon was doing in the movie -- he added nothing.

Interstellar : 7/10, good but far from perfect, and it made sense to me...!

 

Hunger Game Mockingjay, part 1 : 6/10, a somewhat good 2h introduction to the real action that is going to take place in part 2.  Had a couple of tedious moments.

St. Vincent - 6.5/10 - I liked the movie but it did make me want to cry (OK, I did cry a tiny bit) and so I lowered its score.

Lucy - 9/10 - Easily one of the best movies I've seen in recent memory. I'm a sucker for Luc Besson though.

Conan The Barbarian (1982) - 5/10 - It was 'meh' at best, I think most people just have nostalgia goggles.

Scrooged - 4.5/10 - I was in the spirit of christmas and Bill Murray was on my mind. Sadly, this movie was not very good.

BioDome - 2/10 - I really liked this movie when I was around 10 years old, and apparently I was a really stupid 10 year old.

Wathing Death Race right now, but last night I watched "The Theory of Everything" pretty good movie, my only beef with it is that unless you are paying attention, you wont really know what time frame its supposed to be

I liked the idea. I like religious horror crap, but it was way too short. Should have had at least one more hour to develop the characters and the story. It made me dream of Dante's Inferno so I guess that's a good thing.

Watched Maleficent with the family on Saturday. It was better than I thought. I actually enjoyed it.

Edge of Tomorrow (7/10) - Worth watching for some of the audio FX alone (moar choppers!).  Enjoyed it.  Thought the suits/menace visually was much more enjoyable than say, Matrix 3)

The film I most recently watched was Maze runner and its now in my top 10 films I've ever watched. Very entertaining and I recommend it to everyone.

 

Over all I give this film 9/10.

Just watched Days of Future Past last night, maybe the best movie of the franchise.
