(trying to get hopes up)

Maybe it is possible to have animated display pics in this version but MS hasnt written the code so we can do it like they did with the Handwriting thing and the Normal Size (not 96x96)display picture. i bet it'll be a matter of time before some cracks this bad boy.

:angry: oh yea big change in msn messenger :rolleyes: what a waste of time and effort this is just a icon upgrade and a text upgrade.. Big Woop about the games we were expecting better microsoft...looks like you guys have lost your touch..

oh yea and msn Plus for 6.2 is out ;)

holy ****, i have never heard for more ****ing winey bitches in my LIFE. like seriously guys, first of all i bet MOST of you downloaded this right away for the obvious reason, and then just complained about it not working with plus. all other complaints dont even seem to be valid. btw Plus has an update that DOES working, to make all your bitching MORE in vain. it HAS been updated OBVIOUSLY.. you people would be MORE then happy if this was just another 6.1 whatever release. there ARE new features.. you complain that there are none, then when people point them out you complain that they "suck". you know you can un select the grouping of mobile users (its not like its hidden). i personally think this is just another step in the right direction for them. So what if some of the things onofficially promised and then told werent gonna happen arent in here.. its not like your writting the software. you people complain about something that is free, but you have the RIGHT to have a better program with this and that. for something that is FREE.. give your heads a ****ing shake![/rant]

all done! btw i personally am loving this update, whats not to love?

      Along with that and very unfortunate for Linux, the AI boom/tariffs/global supply chain instability really destroyed any chances of it getting a decent chunk of market share. By all accounts, if a Steam Deck was still available for $399 (with tons of alternatives releasing at $500-$800 - instead of $1500+ now) and the Steam Machine was out there for $499, I think a lot of people WOULD have been willing to try SteamOS and switch away from Windows. But yeah, with the crazy jacked up prices now, people have to make safe bets with their money.

      That's really the user's problem, not the developers. It's not like the Windows 10 EOL was a surprise. Once a product goes out of support, you have to understand YOU are owning the risk of running it - the rest of the world will move on, maybe you'll be OK, maybe you'll be OK for a while, maybe you'll have an issue.... But you can't expect devs to write or certify software for dead operating systems.

      Not mentioned in this blog post is that Linux has now dropped for 2 months in a row. At a hight of 5.33% in March, then 4.52% in April and now 3.99% in May. I suspect the end of Windows 10 got a bunch of people to try Linux, fueled by all the Microsoft hate, and rabid social media push of that....and now they are going back to Windows 11 because of the normal Linux issues. The vast majority of PC gamers want to use their computers to game and not trouble shoot why a game wont work, or half work.
