MSN Messenger 6.2 OUT !

Thanks for the info guys...I'm not going to upgrade to 6.2 coz the Messenger Plus won't work there. I'll just wait for Messenger Plus update first.

Just noticed something else. When using emoticons, they now appear in your message box when just typing (instead of just showing up as text).

maybe your school's internet server prevents MSN Messenger from working, not that it matters imo

A friend of mine who pretty much lives in the MsgPlus IRC room has informed me that Patchou has placed security in MsgPlus to ensure that it only runs on versions of MSN that he previously checked. Therefore MsgPlus won't run on MSN6.2 yet. This friend expects a minor release to make MsgPlus work with MSN6.2 either tonight or tomorrow...

myeah it does :blush: :huh: :blush: i hadn't noticed that before :woot: don't use it either way though... so it doesn't really mather... I don't like it (yet that is, as long as msg plus! isn't compatible, and the custom games patch doesn't work, I like that neowin tab :laugh: ) these changes don't deserve a big number change... more a build change, nothing fancy or special IMO... *installing build 211 'gain*
