Windows Cleaner 2005

Question

New version of all in one windows cleaner.

fatures:

- clean all windows temp folder + costom folders + IE temps, history cookies...

- all startup windows places

- protect IE registry keys (like changing home page)

- cleaning junk files

- if you like run app from run command this is gret, you can add shortcut direct in the registry...

- cleaner is working with system keyboard hook, so you can clean all places with only one press on any key you want.

- some other windows fatures

application can by invisible or minimized to tray icon, very nice interface and works realy fast.

Did you backup your registry? If yes restore it. Under wc menu go to Help/windows cleaner on the web/update and update your wc. ;)

^ y wasn't this moved to software branding? sorry for being such a prick but can some1 explain why it shouldn't be there?

That section is for software designed for or branded with Neowin, not just general applications for the "world"...

tools>options>version history, reverse order? newest on top, would be nice

>incoming>SafeLY delete sensitive data (sounds better)

>action>clean and turn off computer, prompt if user is sure? yes or no..

Yes I will reverse order, that is good idea and I change safe to safely. I don't know is this good idea about yes/no dialog after clean and turn off computer becouse if you using global system shortcuts (control + shift + delete) and after that you need to confirm with mouse or keybord... you lose that satisfaction of shooting down... you know what I mean. Hmmm, I will think about.

Sorry I was bussy with my website. I have some minor things to finish. Also some minor problems with forum. Next upgrade for WC will come together with website. I need some reviews for WC to put on site. If someone want to make one please send me by email. I need next 3-5 days (I think) to finish all. ;)

    • Hello, Version 19 of ESET's consumer offerings are 64-bit only. The 32-bit installers are for Version 18, which were announced in this Neowin article. In addition to ESET NOD32 Antivirus, ESET Internet Security, ESET Smart Security Premium, and ESET Security Ultimate, both ESET Safe Server and ESET Small Business Security v19.1.14.0 have been released as well. • I can name 10x that on why not to switch.... It's funny outlook/office are going towards web app wrappers, and then MS is now preaching native apps again.... ugh can we just pick a lane and stay in it
    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
