Yeah I haven't bought anything on XBLA yet, tried Uno and wasn't impressed

OTHERS NEWS- Chromehounds demo has been released, excludes US/Canada but Europe/Asia have it. Go download it now. Setup a fake account if in US/Canada

Yup just seen the news over at Major Nelson. Going very fast for a change :cool: Unlucky for USA/Canada :p

Also disappointed with the lack of XBLA titles, but just be patient and then a flood of them will come at once and not enough points to buy them :p

I had come up with a reason in my head this morning why I thought the Prey Demo might be delayed, and it appears someone else come up with the same theory in the thread I link to the 3D Realms forums in my above post, it it is actually quite a simple one... the Cursing/Swearing.

Reading on those forums, people are claiming although the option to turn it off is there in the PC demo, but it does not work. I am not going to bother checking because honestly I did not want to overplay the demo as I do want to try it on my 360, but I would think perhaps something is up with the cursing or even the fact the game is Rated M for mature players only. I am not sure right now if XBL would stop a kid from downloading a demo that was rated M or not, and maybe MS are trying to figure out a way if that is possible, because the demo does has a few F bombs and cursing in it.

Just a theory...

I'd like to think that, but after playing the Hitman and Condemned demos, I really wouldn't think that the swearing is the problem.

Also CVG.com are reporting that the Prey Demo is now going to be 2nd July (sunday). No reason is given why it was delayed, just it remained in testing.

Demos are hardly released at weekends. especially a sunday

downloaded prey, played.....I like it, but I don't think I'm going to be buying it...Maybe I'll rent it. Very cool visuals/graphics, but to me it's just another Doom-esque FPS with a cooler story. Seems a little linear though, because every route I tried taking, it would always lead me to the correct spot.

Bringing yourself back from the dead is really cool though.

      Dead by Daylight, Two Point Museum, and more join Xbox Free Play Days for the weekend by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe There is a brand-new Free Play Days offer available to Xbox players, giving them a chance to try out a new selection of games over the weekend. Microsoft's latest promotion brings some high-profile titles, including the sports title PGA TOUR 2K25 and the racing sim Assetto Corsa. Almost all the games being offered this time require an Xbox Game Pass subscription, with only one title being available for all players. Starting with the fully free-to-play section, Dead by Daylight is populating it solo. This asymmetric survival horror title should be the most familiar to most gamers, considering its age. The multiplayer four-versus-one asymmetric survival horror game has you assuming the roles of survivors or the killer to see who can come out on top. This Dead by Daylight offer will be available to play until Monday, June 22, giving you an extra day of play compared to the remainder of the Free Play Days titles. Meanwhile, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members can now try out the well-received tycoon game Two Point Museum, the circuit racing sim Assetto Corsa, as well as 2K's golf sim experience that gives players a career to develop alongside real-world pros and courses. Here are the announced games and the platforms they are available to play on: PGA TOUR 2K25 (Xbox Series X|S) Two Point Museum (Xbox Series X|S) Assetto Corsa (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One) Dead by Daylight (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One) To easily find the titles on Xbox consoles, first head to the Store, and then in the sidebar, find the Home section. In there, open the Subscriptions tab. All the games from the Free Play Days collection will show up in this section for quick access. Apart from Dead by Daylight's offer, this week's Free Play Days promotions will end on Sunday, June 21, at 11:59 pm PT.
