Exactly. People are clearly blind or do not listen in these forums. Also the fact that someone pointed out that one of the songs was released recently that is pictured in the pic. I guess these are fake/concepts. The boot screen seems like the only thing that could be genuine since that's similar to what they discuss it looking like/feeling like.

add to that the use of the windows orb, which to my knowladge wasn't used in the longhorn days (it was a normal start button then).

THis is what Vista should have looked like, heres hoping that these screenshots are really a new build

On this screeny it definatly says Windows Vista. If this is an old concept shot it would have said Longhorn, right?

i can read windows Vi....... and then?

enna maybe?

:D

Do not want to be beta police, but have you read your NDA?

You are NOT suppose to post that here, and you ruin what MS trust her BTs.

Carm down. It is in the cafe newsgroup for starters. And secondly, Im hardly leaking sensitive information. I would never leak any information that would break the NDA.

Have you nothing better to do then police the beta program?

From what I can see (to bad the shots are blurry) the UI is very nice. To bad Microsoft didn't do something like that. Not that the current UI isn't good, certianly better than Longhorn's Plex :p They should have made it where we can control the color of the start menu and taskbar along with the window color. But oh well, onto RC1

Whilst I agree, MS frequent these forums a lot and all they need to do is a simple WHOIS on your website cameroncooke.com and find out your info and query their DB and NPR (no pre-release) you from all betas.

Hi Tom,

As I do respect the beta program, I have emailed patrick asking him if this was ok to do.

They dont need to do a whois on my domain as, i've emailed them.

Found this thanks to a digg user, http://www.istartedsomething.com/wp-conten...demystified.jpg looks similar.

Whether or not that's fake, it does look a bit nicer than the current Aero, to the point where I wouldn't mind using that full-time. Even the flickr images look good, but I suppose it's nothing more than either an old build or an OS skin.
