guys, this is hilarious - cool it off already, these are FAKE!

first of all, does anyone notice the hideous camera angles at which some of these were taken? If I had time, I'd draw up diagrams on some of them in a 3d space to demonstrate that the camera was held at the strangest angles...

second, how come there aren't any window indicators in the taskbar on ANY of the open windows?

third, it is way too late in the game for MS to be chaning their UI so dramatically

fourth, in the pictures where the sidebar isn't active, the pre-release info is stretched all the way to the right of the screen; whenever you do see images of the sidebar active, the taskbar abruptly ends where the sidebar begins and most importantly the entire text is place shifted to the left of the sidebar

fifth, some shots clearly show scanlines in the monitor while others don't

sixth... alright already, this is FAKE!!!

If you were taking secret images of builds that are supposed to be strictly NDA, do you really think that you'd be able to get a nice, clear shot of the screen?

One of the things that gets me is this guy keeps putting new images up, but yet he clearly is trying to stay away from the build tag info. If he really wanted to prove that it was real, or at least make us believe it was real, then he should post a shot of that. It just seems like he's staying away from it on purpose. Maybe I'm wrong though :ermm:

this is offtopic but something is seriously wrong with the picture of that guy, his head looks enlarged...

:o he looks like a rapist by the way hes smiling :o

why are we so many people still talking about this?

right now i get the impression that every LOVES the design in those fake screenshots over the current vista build design. Am i the only one that thinks those screens look terrible compared to the real version? Look at picture 002 especially. the start menu's a boring list of text except for the office document icons

Finally, whats up with picture 004. Why is the sidebar overlapping the taskbar?? Theres a cloud from the wallpaper covering up the taskbar tray icons and clock...since when does that happen?

edit: oh yea, as for the possibility of these being shots from a projector, some of the shots are as if you are under the image and looking upwards and others are as if you are looking down on the image. either the person is over 15 feet tall or the projector is displaying a really tiny image

hmm, looking around closely they seem to be very well thought out even if they are fake. Look closely the bootscreen shots in the second page, the first is black and white. Could it by cause the system is hasn't loaded any graphic drivers? and when it's fully loaded it loads aurora and then 32 bit images. I love the screens either way though:)
