They always said after public release. I never saw it saying after RTM.

In the email it says "...Please be patient. We cannot ship your gift until Windows Vista Business is released to manufacturing..."?which?is?RTM. ?The guy from channel9 said they should have?started shipping them late last week.

i'm going to a vista launch event next week and i will get a free copy of office 2007 for it. maybe i will get lucky and win a copy of vista too but if not i will just get ultimate when its actually released.

Should be here in a week or so since they said it might take some time to ship them all out, they started last week towards the end of the week and still shipping this week. They usually ship 2 day shipping via DHL

Waited nearly two months... can wait another 1-2 weeks I guess but its just the fact that they old us that they are shipping it makes me want to check the mail every day for it. :/

I don't want to complain but if we just had a solid date when we would be getting our gift I would stop thinking about this, I just got an email that says it will ship 6-8 weeks after vista is released to public, so we could be waiting about 10 weeks from now.

That better not be true because they freakin said 6-8 weeks from RTM clearly ON their website. It doesn't matter if its free... we did see those webcasts and we did take the time to do it.. If they said RTM, they should keep their word. Doesn't matter if its free or paid.

Microsoft got the the Code name Longhorn from Canada and this is how they repay canada back by not offering offers like this..
