A little bird told me that the machine had crashed at the time of the actual draw which was one online and the whole network apparently got infected so all the user data has been lost. Entertainment 42 has been imformed and they are in the progress of creating a new version www.crashingpoint.com for all of us to play with during the next few months..... LOL

No seriously has anyone won anything yet????

I am only hoping for an e-mail from L.O.K.I.

thanks for a fantastic time during this game it was good fun though and I was trying to make this description above sound like it came of a Mac forum....

I blo**y hate Mac's

I think that is because they should have some strange law in there :)

Yep. Something about not being eligible to participate in games of pure chance. I find it ironic, however, that there are TWO casinos within a mile of each other in Niagara Falls. As far as I could tell, slot machines were about as close to "pure chance" as you could get. *shrug*

someone brought up that it could be possible that the GP winner has to agree to a non disclosure agreement to claim the prize. MS would legally be withing there rights to execute this, and may do it to control the press announcement of the winner. Im sure theyd much rather have a big press meeting with bill handing over the winnings amongst photo flashes, instead of over a forum board.

The winner is probably sitting with the message in their junk mail, not realizing they won, and wondering who the hell did, lol. ::check's own junk mail::

Maybe we have to wait until tomorrow for the prizes :(

Missed a phone call from an 800 number this morning (10:15), but it seems to just be telemarketers according to google. (800-710-7097)

Yeah, it's a strange law that makes us Canadians answer math questions... 1 + 1 = 4, right? :p Wait... maybe 5

Well, there is an interest theorem in math where after applying some convoluted theories you can

easily demonstrate that 2 + 2 = 5

Talking about spam and junk e-mail, it's amazing how the number of this new spam messages embedded

on an image about stock deals or sex enhancing junk grows every day.

If somebody took them seriously he probably ended with a dinky 3 feet long and a zillionarie !!!

Cheers

Don't be surprised if it takes a bit longer than 48 hours. Marden Kane handled the prizes for the AOL Gold Rush. The rules said they would call the winners the night of each of the final puzzles. It was actually weeks and even months later before they got around to calling winners and giving out all the prizes.

If you do alot of contests you'll find that many companies are really gung-ho about doing the sites and getting the marketing benefits, and really really poor about respecting the players and paying the prizes. So far this contest seems more responsive than most, but you never know if someone else is handling the prize payouts.

I havent seen anything in my mailbox out of Houston TX....hmmm i wonder if it really will take them forever to let people know if they have won. Can you imagine thinking you got squat and 4 months later ups shows up at your door with a package from them? I would still be happy but I would sure n **** like to know sooner than that...
