Bioshock General Discussion ( Xbox 360 )

its water, enzyme samples (basically honey) and chlorophyll solution.

i think the chemical thrower is in her room and by that time you should have plenty of ammo for it.

Thanks, couldnt for the life of me remember the last one and just called it honey cos u got it from the hives :)

Great game thus far, absolutely loving it. Playing it in tandem on 360 and PC, 360 on easy and PC on hard. Have to say Im a lot further on PC though, havent even gotto arcadia on the 360.

you get the chemical/gel weapon (from what i remember) when you speak to the woman and have to do 3 seperate quests for water, honey and something else I cant remember at the moment, all this is in Arcadia.

That's right, it's on her desk. It's the quest to re-oxygenate the trees I believe.

Thanks guys. I did not talk to her yet, so perfect. I did not miss it.

I just beat the game and... Wow... That was amazing.

Now I've got to play through again, harvesting them... There are so many parts of the story that hinge on your actions toward the Little Sisters, so I've got to see what happens when you harvest rather than rescue. And don't anybody tell me!

I just finished this (got the game on 21st, my bday ) this game today and it is the best single player experience on 360 so far. I've only got 25/50 achievements so I'll try and get the rest later. I have to do the opposite of you gigapixels, I have to rescue every Little Sister. I was one mean bastardd  :p

i was supposed to get my 32" hdtv yesterday and i was gonna play bioshock on it for the rest of the weekend, but since it wasn't in stock, i'm holding off from playing bioshock. i want to witness that game when i get my new tv. :p

That's what I'm doing now. I felt dirty after harvesting the first one, just seems wrong.

i'm playing through on hard now and i still don't want to harvest the little sisters... i might just forget trying to get that ending because i really don't want to harvest little sisters... and i want those gifts (hypnotise big daddy) so badly :p

I've been playing tonight in the dark, wearing headphones and I nearly shat myself a few times

The Big Daddy's moan just freaks me out every time and I spin round trying to find the mofo :/

I watched the DVD that came with the CE this afternoon and it was very interesting :)

its not as if the big daddy will attack you though... i get scared when i can hear a splicer talking but i have no idea where they are... that gets so annoying sometimes.

The Houdini Splicers are indeed the most scary, I have researched them fully (I think) and still hate encountering them.

and they attack you if you're a big daddy! it sucks :( i was walking around looking for audio diaries and i suddenly get hit by fireballs. at least when you research them its really easy to work out where they're going.

Got it today. So far its amazing. Really enjoying it.

I started to save the little sisters but got greedy for Adam, so at the 3rd sister in, i started harvesting :D.

One part made me **** my pants. You walk into the gardens and you go into a room with a voodoo type mask on the bench, and you hear someone behind you, so I span around and sure enough, :( I weed a little :(. haha. So far so good.

The boss battles are great and require thought and not brute force.

Has anyone been having any difficulty killing the Big Daddy's on easy? because I have yet to die in this game and I'm getting rid off Big Daddy's so easily and also they are REALLY vulnerable to the cross bow with the electric trap bolt ammo that takes about half of their life away in one shot  and I know I'm playing on easy but these are Elite Bouncer's on the later levels I'm talking about...

Anyone else think they are ridiculously easy to kill on easy? ;)

Yeah, It's almost harder to kill those splicers with the tommy gun :s

The game was okay, had some great moments. But i don't know if i can be arsed to go through it again at Hard. It's not THAT good!

Change it to normal or hard if you are finding it easy , thats why it is called easy.

Right, I've gone through the game twice now. The only achievements I need to get are Historian and Seriously Good At This. I'm trying for the former now but I think the latter will have to wait a while since I just can't be bothered to play on hard all the way though atm.

    • Onwards to Windows 12 then lol.
    • There is a long thread (128pgs and counting) that I've been following over at ElevenForums that has a method for updating Secure Boot even if there is no BIOS upgrade. I've used this method and had zero issues. NOTE:  I do not take any responsibility if this or any other Secure Boot method bricks your system -- YMMV!  Read carefully before using!
    • Yes, yes, YES, thank you AMD. Now display audio, night light, cleartype, etc, all work again.
