The Big Wrestling Thread!

I just read that creatieve is thinking of ? ryback vs ut at wm30, only if the rock is interested in ? match at wm, and that ryback Ends the streak, something punk coulnd't do... its still to early to make conclusions but i personaly wouldn't wanna see ut lose to ryback, even though he's a good wrestler

Hello,

Ryback is not worth (selling tshirts) that kind of huge push. There are only 5 men that I think of that would end the streak:  Triple H, Kane, The Rock, Stone Cold, and John Cena.

Triple H has gotten several chances to end the streak. He gets ANOTHER match VS UT it would be to end it.

Kane is always the other side of the coin to UT. On a personal level, he has won all major titles at least once. Ending the streak I think would make him more memoriable but still.....

The Rock is a complete movie star not even remotely intrested in wreslting anymore (and this is from a guy who loves the Rock back in the day). Him beating UT would just bring him for fame in hollywood but in the WWE? Nothing.

Stone Cold has still some wrestling in him but he has stated that he wants to grow old and live life completly pain free. Plus the PG era is not suited to a water down Austin. But one match to end the streak, against a guy his same age, I think he would do it.

Which (currently) leave us with one choice: John Cena. Cena is 36 right now, and UT is 48. Its obvious Cena has AT LEAST (and that at least) 4 years left in him. I imagine that if someone high up really wanted to end the streak, it would be someone at the end of his career (reason why at 33-34 Punk didnt do it and Punk doesnt need the push at all). If they want to give a 40 year old be the "streak ender" to a 52.....I dont know......Plus, its obvious that match everyone is going to be in UT's corner.

I think they are going to let the streak undefeated. Either that or a draw with Austin.

episode,

Yeah, I understand but just make it drop it to someone the next day. It was just a afterthought; Personally I dont see him holding either title but we have seen stranger things in wrestling...

Thats a minimum of two matches to make that happen though - and he's not going to do that. We were lucky we got the extra ones he did this year.

Now I KNOW you're crazy. Ryback is awful, and in no way deserving of even getting any match with UT, never mind beating him at WM and taking the streak. UT will face Cena at WM. Is Dwayne going to compete? Don't care. The WWE title situation is murky, because of Lesnar vs Punk being unresolved. I think they want to do Punk vs Bryan, but they need to get Lesnar vs Punk done as well.

Can't stop making Goldberg comparisons now; it's like an illness. The first thing that came to mind when I read that was Bill Goldberg when he was in Looney Tunes: Back in Action. I know, it's not a comic book movie, in fact, it's a completely different kind of comic. :P

According to PWInsider.com both The Ultimate Warrior, and Degeneration-X (as a group), are being talked about for next year's WWE Hall of Fame.

Ultimate Warrior and WWE are of course back on good terms, with Warrior being included in WWE 2K14 and being welcomed back into the WWE Universe by Vince McMahon over the summer, so it's a definite possibility we could see Warrior back on WWE TV in some fashion next year, which would be the first time since 1996.

As for DX, they were rumored for last year's Hall of Fame class, but that idea was put on hold once WWE was able to come to an agreement with Bruno Sammartino.

In other news, WWE has begun discussing an early possible 2014 Royal Rumble winner, and Daniel Bryan has been a name currently being talked about.

Rappy,

You distracted me from my real post.

I saw the first disc off the Triple H Thy Kingdom Come. Intresting bits.

It is VERY sad that Chyna is still ###### at the WWE and didnt take part in it. Then again she has gone completely into porn (right, thats the last Ive heard: A bodybuilding female porn star)

According to reports, there are plans to break up the tag-team of The Real Americans. Apparently WWE feels the ?giant swing move? that Antonio Cesaro has been doing lately is a big babyface spot in matches, so they are likely going to be turning Cesaro babyface in the near future.

Hooray for the indies!
