Not in the slightest.

I'm surprised it's such a big deal for some folk. Perhaps they just like to whine and have a dig at Apple.

It has taken a dip this year to 42.52 million compared with 57.62 million in 2007 in the UK. Not insignificant. I'm not taking a dig really as I have an iPhone, it's just one feature I miss from my old phone.

If all you guys want MMS support. Download the SDK and write your own. Apparently its a piece of **** to write apps for the iPhone. :p

I'll add it to my list!

Cara, it was so hectic in the IRC room that I don't think my question was worded properly. What I wanted to know was, you said you've been using the 3G iPhone, but not in its new body. I'm a bit confused there. So, the 3G technology, the GPS, etc. is possible to be fitted into the old body?

Also, when you did use the new body, how did the plastic feel to it? Does it feel high quality, almost as good as the aluminum? It just seems that Apple made a big deal last year about being "green" and using aluminum and glass, and then they throw it all away with a plastic body.

I'm kind of hoping Steve was meaning to say 199 local currency. :p We'll have to wait till sales post though.

$ 199 would be around ? 127,30 and that's an insane price. In Belgium the iPhones are being sold - imported - for prices around ? 400 at the mome:o. :o

What a crock!

Still no MMS. Still no video recording, still the same crap 2 mp camera and no video calling.

I think that Jobs is missing the point here, all the push/vpn etc connectivity the iphone is providing now is well and good but the vast and I mena 95% of buyers will be joe public and they'll still have to jailbreak to get back functionality that should have been there from the start.

Still it does look feckin minted and at a half decent price (as long as $199 translates to ?100 over here but I bet you its ?199)

Malc

    • On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously
    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
    • The term "RTM" is long gone starting with Windows 10. Every current release is a GA build. This is the result of MS making Windows as a Service (WaaS).
