That was an absolutely insane game of football!!! :D

4-4.. could've gone either way till the last sec.. when we went down 2-1 I tht thats it.. but Russian Pele had other ideas.. makes AW looks even more stupid now for not starting him against Chelsea.. hope we do the same to Chelsea and Man U where ever and whenever we meet them this year.. but only with a clean sheet :p

Good game by both teams (Y)

Would you rather me say: "I feel like rolling my eyes at that post, so there!?". Sorry, I'd rather use the emotes that are there for that reason.

News flash dude, I've argued/had great convos with Liverpool/football fans for years on this forum. I don't have to say anything to you.

The Arsenal game last night sure was a cracker. It was a brilliant free flowing game of football, perhaps good for the neutrals but not for my heart.

The pace of Walcott and Arshavin leading up to Arsenal's 4th was unbelievable. If I pushed my granny off a cliff she wouldn't go that fast.

You haven't though have you

Great game for us :) We should have won it at 3-2 or 4-3 but we have a weakened back 4 and Fabianski doesn't have the experience, brilliant in the 1st half but lost it in the second half as usual. In a kind of weird way I didn't want a result from the game before hand as I'd rather Liverpool do the league than scummy Chelsea with no history or Scum Utd but once the game was on it was there for the winning!

You must have been watching a different game to the rest of us because Liverpool fully deserved and should of won the match. It could of been 8-4 easily but Fabianski pulled off some good saves.

Stats show Liverpool had 15 shots on target while Arsenal had 4.....which is the goals they scored.

Liverpool also had 12 Corners to Arsenal's....0 so the match was dominated by Liverpool only for careless defending really which gifted Arshavin two easy goals. I would say right time, right place of those goals really and just because he scored 4 goals in a match doesn't make him brilliant.

just because he scored 4 goals in a match doesn't make him brilliant.

I think Arshavin is class to be honest. Some of the technique on those goals of his last night was just brilliant.

A few words of praise should be put Fernando Torres way as well, having missed most of the season through injury he is only two goals behind Anelka in the goal charts.

What I loved most was that it was a clean and fair game.. almost no diving and only 1 yellow card.. thats great to see.. especially after Wembley

Torres is class.. I wanted him to join Arsenal when Henry left us and he is showing his class now.. I don't know if he is better that David Vila though coz Vila still hasn't played at a top club while his Euro outing was superb.. Yossi is getting goals too now and thats coming in handy in Stevie G's absence..

I think Man U and Chelsea will win today.. but you never know.. lets go Pompey!! :p

I'd rather have 4 shots on target and 4 goals than 15 shots on target and 4 goals, doesn't that surely show that Arsenal took their opportunities a lot better than Liverpool?

Again, 12 corners and 4 goals, 0 corners and 4 goals :)

4 goals doesn't make him a great player but he is anyways, he proved that before he moved to Arsenal and throughout his time at Zenit and the Euros. He is pure class and it's just a shame we don't have him for champs league. God knows why Wenger didn't start him for the FA Cup game.

But it does show they attacked better than us. It was the finishing (and some good saves from Fabianski) that led them down, which is actually the story of our season really. You have to agree with this though, all the goals yesterday were due to defensive errors.

Ever since I saw Arshavin at the Euros, I thought he was pure class, and couldn't understand why some fans didn't want him! All this while we've been bemoaning we lack a player with experience and when one comes along they moan. 6 goals and 7 assists in 11 games speak for themselves. And he will only get better. It begs an interesting if pointless question: where would we be in the league now had Wenger bought him in the summer?

Pity he wont be there to destroy Man Utd in the UCL.

Man U can really secure the premier league by taking 3 points today, if not i'd take a guess that Chelsea makes a late run and Liverpool falls flat. If it gets closer between Chelsea and Man U there should be a good CL final/ Premier League race going on between them.

Yesterday's match was about as exciting as it gets, Great Game even though the defensive was missing for both sides (or maybe the offense was too strong?)

You haven't though have you

Here is a perfect example. Why the hell are you so god damn dense Martyn? Apparently 2006 isn't years ago in Liverfail land.

Congratulations for answering your own question. By the way, 'God' should be capitialised, maybe that is just me being dense though ;)

As for the thread you posted, those were the days, but forgive me, I cannot be assed looking though the whole thread for a post of yours. I do miss the likes of deuz, L3thal and geek_rohit though :(

I don't believe in organized religion. I could careless if it's god or God. By the way, how does improper grammar relate to someone being dense?

Tied today... sigh.

    • NVIDIA officially supports Ubuntu, as linked above with the GeForce NOW Hands on I did in collaboration with Paul Hill.
    • TO be clear I am not running linux today, however I keep thinking about it. And I want to make sure there are minimal obstacles if I decide to make that switch in the coming months.
    • Yes, I actually glossed over the Linux part from the OP. You could always go for a 9070 XT and if you really want to play Ray Traced games in the future, GeForce Now is pretty damn good on Linux https://www.neowin.net/news/nvidias-native-geforce-now-app-for-linux-bridges-the-gaming-gap-hands-on/
