magik Share Posted October 8, 2008 Like, 10 seconds faster overall. I wouldn't imagine it being much faster. I'm more curious as to the noise level.
Sethos Share Posted October 8, 2008 Less pop up as well I suppose? I asked that question above, wasn't answered by the video.
.KICK Share Posted October 8, 2008 I asked that question above, wasn't answered by the video. Ah I missed that, well I suppose less pop up could be likely? Its caused by loading data from the disc(?) isn't it so since reading off the HDD would be faster then the chances of pop up happening would be reduced?
Sethos Share Posted October 8, 2008 I'm almost certain those pop up issues some users have reported would be fixed or reduced significantly. The reason it happens is, it can't load the object fast enough off the disc, which is one of the drawbacks of the stream engine which many games uses today to improve graphics. So installing it on the HDD would yield similar results as seen on the PS3.

IceBreakerG Share Posted October 9, 2008 November 19th is such a long way away. But it looks like they want to get it out just before black Friday. That's cool with me, I don't go out on black Friday anyway (work in retail for 3yrs and you'll understand why). Either way, I can't wait to get the new update.
