BREAKING NEWS...Michael Jackson dies of cardiac arrest

ok. lets get something straight. if a celeb is a celeb then anyone will make jokes about them when they are alive as they are "public property" in this day and age.

sure, its sad that he's died, but the jokes will roll on. Hypocritical society we live in. The guy was a weirdo, the fact that he's died doesn't alter that fact.

So I don't know if this is the right place to post this in, but I was just wondering if anyone know when the next Michael Jackson album is coming out? Is he working on it right now? I mean, it's been a while since the last one. Come on Michael, stop being so lazy! Amirite?!

How about we all start making jokes about a member of your passed family, just becuase her is a celeb dont consitute the sickness of the jokes so close to his death, he aint even in his cofin yet for god sake

This guy was a genius, you can't alter that fact too.

i'm not disputing that. however if you look back at his career, it was the likes of Quincey Jones who was responsible for his most successful era. Once that partnership ended he basically rode the enormous wave of the past and his later stuff was mediocre with lots of money thrown at it; Nothing standout or "genuis".

strange that I never remember anyone saying this when Saddam was killed. Does your convenient logic not apply to people YOU think are evil? i think you need to question your own logic here.

It's sad that he died so young. A great performer and will be truly missed. Unfortunately he clearly did some regrettable things in his life, no-one pays off a family if they are innocent.

Well on the other hand you could look at it from this perspective; no parent could ever let a person who molested their child walk without a prison sentence.

Valid point but money warps even the sanest of people.

Well his friend Uri Gellar (granted this guy is a bit of clown) said that MJ paid off the family because he couldn't cope with the accusations/trials/etc anymore.

I dont know what makes me sadder, That MJ has died, or alot of you mofo's make jokes about him so soon after his death.

It doesnt matter what has happened he has acheived what no-one has acheived in this world.

R.I.P

I wouldn't worry about it. It's quite common for people to deal with death through humour and only to be expected really.

TBH, people can say what they like about Michael Jackson, but at the end of the day, it's impossible to deny the massive impact he had on today's music.

Rest in peace, Mr Jackson.

Michael Jackson was different. With a capital "D". I've come to think that he was a product of growing up in circumstances that very very few of us could begin to understand.

Think about it. The Jackson 5 was possibly the biggest act in the post-Beatles world (I remember, I was there), and their front man was 10 years old. He went on to record the biggest-selling album of all time before he was 30. Can you imagine spending virtually your entire life wondering if the people around you love you for yourself, or if they're just after another piece of the pie? That may well explain his enthusiasm for children; he saw them as not having an agenda.

To me, Michael Jackson is only one of a number of cases that prove to me that growing up in extreme privilege is at least as damaging as growing up in extreme poverty. When you look at other celebrities like Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, and even older stars like Mickey Rooney and Jackson friend Elizabeth Taylor, it's clear that finding success as a child performer is no guarantee of future happiness.

I don't mean this to be an excuse for pedophilia. I know that he was "warped" to some degree, if you will; his public behavior clearly bears this out, but I'll admit, I have a hard time believing that Michael Jackson would knowingly harm a child. What his definition of "harmful" was is impossible to say, admittedly. The evidence against him seemed somewhat less clear than the case against, say, OJ.

In the end, Michael Jackson seems to be something of an emotional Rorshak test. Those who felt uncomfortable with his behavior to begin with seem eager to latch on to any excuse to reinforce their view.

I'm a little surprised to find myself hoping that he winds up held in better esteem in death than he was in life.

That cuts two ways, you know. Money could just as easily have "warped" the parents into using their kids in an extortion plot.

We don't really know what happened, and frankly some of the circumstances surrounding the accusation were suspect. I'm prepared to grant some benefit of the doubt.

Loved his music and I think he's incredibly talented.

I personally believe he did participate in activities he was accused of, however I think it was for love of children and didnt intentionally start it off in a sexual way.

Either way, if your next door neighbour done the same, you'd have him strung out.

I wonder what will happen with my 6 tickets :(

Fake. A similar thing was done when Pac died.

Im happy the fact he accepted the Shahadah a few months ago and died as a Muslim. Since Jermaine is already a Muslim I hope he leads Michaels funeral prayer.

I was so shocked when I heard about his death. :(

...you have got to be kidding me.

I wont even comment on THIS because it will get me warned.

For anybody thats interested, according to reports fans are set to gather at London's Trafalgar Square tonight to pay tribute to the singer.

    • Yes, it was amusing at the time because even then dbrand was well known for stealing the designs of products from other companies. That’s what they do.
    • Didn’t Dbrand once complain that Casetify was ripping off their designs a well? seems pretty bad of them to try and get around Valve’s copyright this way with that in mind.
    • Dbrand thought they could get away with this Steam Machine case, Valve disagreed by David Uzondu Image via Dbrand Dbrand has cancelled its highly anticipated Companion Cube enclosure for the Valve Steam Machine, which it teased back in November of last year with a concept render and sign-up page, because it did not ask Valve for permission first before manufacturing the case. According to Dbrand, it took the "backwards approach" of building the product first before asking for permission from the copyright holder. Seven months of work went into the project, requiring over a thousand engineering hours from the design team. Workers developed forty-four sets of injection molding tools, making a unique mold for each sub-component of the crate. When the Companion Cube went live on Monday last week, it, according to Dbrand, quickly became the second-fastest-selling product in the company's fifteen-year history, racking up orders for hundreds of thousands of units. Customers eagerly bought the $129.95 deluxe edition or the bare-bones $99.95 version, which the manufacturer cheekily branded as the "Poverty Cube". It was around this time that the legal eagles at Valve descended on the accessory maker with a formal demand. The developer pointed out that the iconic block design remains protected intellectual property from the game Portal, so unlicensed sales had to stop. Dbrand said that all its pleas to salvage the project with the Valve team, including proposals to run a properly licensed release under official terms "with their blessing", fell on deaf ears, so it had no choice but to obey and remove every trace of the product from the internet. If you bought the enclosure, the company said that banks will process your refund by the end of this week, but if it still hasn't arrived in your account by then, you should not hesitate to contact support. The Steam Machine itself is a high-performance console that Valve designed directly to bring PC gaming into the living room. It was announced on 12th November 2025 (the same day Dbrand announced the Cube) and runs on the Linux-based SteamOS, the same OS that powers the Steam Deck. As for the price, due to the shortage of memory and storage chips, the hardware cost landed much higher than people were expecting, starting at $1,049 for the 512 model (without a controller) or $1,128 with the new gamepad. The premium 2 TB model pushes those prices even higher, selling at $1,349 for the standalone console and hitting $1,428 if you want the bundle.
