NHL 09-10 Season

It's a skills competition similar to the All-Stars skills competition but this one was specific to Montreal players. Toronto hosts a similar night as well. The two guys in the video hit all four targets each. Somewhat surprisingly, most NHL players cannot do that on a regular basis even though it looks easy enough.

looks easy, but metropolit did it with slap shots, which is pretty amazing... especially the last shot which was a one timer.

This event was the habs open practise.

Aww crap. Now that Anderson is out the avs will have to rely on Budaj to backstop them...

Budaj put up a hell of a game, especially against Pit, I was shocked.

Sucks we lost though, especially with that no goal call that was clearly BS. We deserved at least a point in my opinion.

It's been a pretty good season so far, and with the Olympics, well that just makes it a bit sweeter. For a North American like myself on the West Coast it'll be nice to see the games without tape delay or at some weird time. Now if only the Sharks can only not embarrass themselves in the post-season...

I almost choked when I looked at the Ottawa-Minnesota stats.

The Ottawa goaltender was listed as M. Brodeur and I was thinking, "Did I not hear about the trade of the century?"

Apparently it is a "Mike Brodeur" rather than the slightly more famous Martin.

He's some 7th round pick or something of that nature.

I believe that TSN was being cheeky about it, too.

Their online headline for the story was "Brodeur earns first career win...". I had to check whether it was April Fools' or not.

    • Being on GitHub doesn't make something safe. Like any unofficial scripts to do x or y this caters to people with just enough knowledge to be dangerous. If you want to do what this does, and you actually know what you're doing then write your own script (or maybe just add the reg keys yourself) if you don't have the ability to read and understand what a script is doing, and especially don't run it with elevated privileges. Or in this case just use an MSA, sign up the normal route, and stop trying to push water up hill
    • Dude get a clue, LTSC is Enterprise, not even legal for consumers, and ESU is not mainstream support cycle, just an extended security updates period.
    • Nvidia is your issue more so than linux itself. I did used it for a while with an old 1060 3gb, but using propietary drivers was kind of messy.
