Please pin this and post all requests graphic related here - be it internet banners, avatars, sigs - you name it, just post them here and i, or the helpful neowin grpahics team will hopefully get to it... :D

Thread title edited, this is not an "offcial" request thread and not the only one, people may still make request threads, otherwise they would get buried in here. Thanks for understanding

i dunno if this will work but it's worth a try if this doesn't work then I'll just change the format on the other one to photoshop

oh crap its not even close to the right colour maybe we should ask him what he thinks or are you doing it in the right colour

I have a weird one. I am making a wallpaper, and I need a picture frame. I was thinking about 300x700 pixels and I need it on the bottom to say "My Future Missionary". Its not a Mormon thing, so don't worry. I have a really good idea. The frame can be made from wood or plastic. It would also be nice to have like 2 layers, one being the frame, the other being something that would look like glass, so when the picture is in it, it looks like there is glass on top.

[REQ] Ok, What i am after is a simple curve, approx 500 x 30 pixels high, I have attatched a very dodgy looking pic but it is the general shape that i am after. A curve that starts rounded and thicker then ends smaller to a point. I would like it red and kind of glossy if possible.

Hmm. Happens to me too. I made an image yesterday for a company called Ullenwood, they contacted me via the website and when I exported it, it was real dark and horrible. But on screen it looked sweet! Oh well.

Does anybody have a tutorial to make that glass effect like Dreamcaster has on his signature cause at the moment that seems to be the in thing with Graphics at the moment, if someone could give out the address to a cool tutorial for it that would be cool. If you don't know what I mean take a peek, hope you don't mind Dreamcaster using your signature as an example...bugger he has got it on random images, oh and if anyone has the PHP script for the randomization of the sigs that would also be cool! Hold on I will take a screenshot of it...here I have now attached, but if someone has a tutorial for it that would be cool. Photoshop 7.0, best.

Sup ppl, does anyone have an image similiar to this one, as i want to make it part of my banner on my site so if anyone has an image similiar to this that i could use, i would be very grateful

Couldn't you just resize it, or give me the sizes and I will do it for you instead. I wouldn't of thought that an image like that would be possible for someone else 'just' to have without being used. :D

      Nothing is stopping you from continuing with your testing cadence. If updates are released every 2 weeks instead of 4, and you test once every 4 weeks, the exact same amount of patches will still be available for you in those 4 weeks. For example: Before 4th week - patch 1, 2, 3, 4 After 2nd week - patch 1 and 2 4th week - patch 3 and 4 Still the same amount after 4.

      Everyone else has said it. I'm gonna say it - you don't know what you're talking about. I do. I have two laptops. One work, one personal. I have access to two more laptops - both personal. At home I manually update my personal laptop when I see on Neowin that there is an update - I carry on and only apply the updates when I am ready. My work one only updates when my workplace decides to send it - I carry on and only apply the updates (when they actually arrive, which is usually days after the release) when I switch off the laptop at the end of the day as usual. The two other personal laptops only get updated when I get to it which is rarely - the people who own them carry on using them until I get to it and update them. All of the browsers on all laptops are configured to restore the tabs when launched. Google and Microsoft have changed from 6 weeks to 4, and it looks like it's going to move to 2. None of these changes affect how any of these browsers on the laptops are used. Not one jot. My advice to you is stop panicking whenever you see an update. Just carry on with what you're doing. This even benefits you in a way - from your comment you sound like you don't like the changes or the frivolous new features - great - then carry on as before!
