Get up to $800 off when you trade in your Surface tablet, for a limited time

As part of its recycling program, Microsoft is currently offering up to $800 upon trading in an old Surface device towards buying a new one. The promo is available until the 7th of November.

For a limited time, Microsoft is currently offering a big discount towards its Surface products. If you trade in any Surface device on a Microsoft Store, you can get as much as $700 towards the purchase of a new Surface tablet. You can also grab an extra $100 if you opt for a purchase of the company's latest device, the Surface Pro 4.

All Surface devices are eligible for trade-in, including the discontinued Surface RT series, where you can get at least $150. A Surface Pro 2 will get you at least $175, while you get at least $250 from a Surface 3. Lastly the Surface Pro 3, will provide you with a $350 discount.

To be able to trade in, a Surface device must be working properly, and its power adapter has to be included. Take note though, throwing in a touch/type cover will not increase the value of the trade-in discount offer.

If a device has no value for the trade-in promo, a customer can opt to have the device recycled free of charge, as part of Microsoft's environmental program.

Aside from physical store trade-ins, the offer is also available online. You can also check the value of your Surface device by heading to this link.

The trade-in offer won't be around for long, as it is only until November 7th, Saturday, so seize the opportunity to trade in when you can.
