OnePlus could unveil a truly wireless earbuds in July

OnePlus could soon make inroads into the truly wireless earbuds space. A new leak suggests the company may soon unveil a pair of wireless earbuds featuring a design similar to that of Apple's AirPods.

Renowned leaker Max J. has shared an image of OnePlus' supposed truly wireless earbuds design on Twitter, with the word "July" accompanying the design, indicating that it could debut during that month.

Specs of the accessory are scarce for the time being. From what can be seen on the image, it is hard to deny its similarity to the AirPods in terms of design, what with its rounded stems and the lack of silicone ear tips, among other features.

That said, the leaker cautions against the veracity of the image, noting that the leak comes from a new, albeit reliable, source. It would be interesting to see how OnePlus' rumored earbuds will stack against the AirPods when it comes to hardware and audio performance.
