Last week, Epic Games confirmed the free games promotion on its PC games store won't be ending its run in 2022 either. Now, keeping to its promise, another freebie has landed. Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair has taken the place of last week's Daemon X Machina giveaway. This is a repeat freebie, so you may find it already in your Epic Games Store library.
Released in October 2019 by Playtonic Games, this is a platformer experience building on the studio's earlier game Yooka-Laylee, though dropping in a side-scroller this time. You take the roles of Yooka the chameleon and his bat buddy Laylee in a mission to save "Beetalion" members, all to secure enough extra lives to last through the infamous Impossible Lair.

The game costs $30 when it is not on sale. Here are the minimum requirements
