Well I think this turned out well :D Took a bit of creative liberty in modifying it with some newer blocks, think it looks good.

Is it possible we can have the better end and better nether mods with the extra dungeons and weapons and that like we did on the server before was upgraded, can't remember which version but Minecraft was so much more enjoyable then, i made a post on this awhile back if they could be readded, is there any chance this time?

Datapacks and paper don't play the nicest together, however, if you can find a paper-compatible one I'm willing to add it, cause yeah the end and nether are a little drab at the moment.

The Datapacks are actually why I'm having so many issues trying to import the 1.18 world...

Also just a note, we don't have to stick to strictly vanilla minecraft since we can have multiple worlds now, I've made the TestHub the default spawn world now, theres two portals in the building to the north.

Chunky pre-generation of the 1.20.2 worlds is complete, I've progened a 10k radius on the overworld, end, and nether.

Datapacks in use are Incendium and Stellariy V2, I have not enabled the custom resource packs for these.

I've changed from Dynmap to Bluemap for our world maps, it's faster and the maps take up less space.

Plugins currently installed are:

BlueMap 3.18
BlueMap-Essentials 1.1.3
Geyser
Floodgate
PerWorldPlugins 1.4.9
Chunky
ChunkyBorder
CleanroomGenerator
CMLib
CoreProtect
DamageIndicator
Elevator
EssentialsX
EssentialsX-Chat
EssentialsX-Spawn
GriefPrevention
LuckPerms
MiniMOTD
Multiverse-Core
Multiverse-Portals
Multiverse-Inventories
Multiverse-Netherportals
Multiverse-Signportals
PlaceholderAPI
SchematicUpload
Skript
UltimateTimber
Vault
ViaBackwards
ViaVersion

Some of the permissions may not be set up yet, let me know if theres something that you can't access and I'll work on fixing them.

nevermind, wow looks like a lot of things were built. Nice dam.

The only way to create more activity on the server is to start playing again, if you ask me.

With 1.21 out do we want to upgrade and gen a vanilla 1.21 world?

I'll still keep multiverse on the server so that we'll still have the old worlds as well if we do.

I haven't played for months, i just lost interest when we lost the better end and dungeons and weapons mod a few years ago, I'm not one to be picky but all the different versions on one server where confusing to me, i just like the idea of one version, with plugins, a spawn and a world where everyone just builds in one spot and update the version as necessary when plugins for that version have been updated, but that's just me.

Just saw the post here and it reminded me: I have my new laptop now, so I should be able to play with all the mods you guys want! :jump:

Although I will have to install it again, and figure out how to get the mods working...I wonder if it's easy to do on Linux, or will I have to jump into Windows when I want to play? Not that I mind, I'll be doing Fallout 4's London mod in Windows and also Once Human doesn't work in Linux, so this would just be another game on that list...

I'll take a look and jump back in over the next few days.

If you want to use mods, I find the easiest is to use Prism Launcher. Installs everything for you. I use it on Windows, but it should works fine on Linux also.

Oh cool, it does have a Linux Flatpak option! Thanks for the suggestion! As soon as Microsoft sort their servers out I'll take a look. (Y)

    • This is why competition must exist. Finally, pressure is mounting on Microsoft to move in the right direction.
    • Microsoft is making Windows 11's context menus faster, simpler, and configurable by Taras Buria Five years ago, Windows 11 introduced redesigned context menus, offering users a simpler, more modern design. However, customers quickly discovered that the new menus leave a lot to be desired. Many are unhappy with performance (they are really slow), while others dislike the double-layed design, where many options are hidden behind the "Show more options" button. In addition, over the years, menus became cluttered and overloaded. While Microsoft has already fixed plenty of pain points across Windows 11, context menus remain mostly unchanged. Fortunately, Microsoft is finally listening. Marcus Ash, Design and Research Lead for Windows at Microsoft, responded to a tweet on X, confirming that the company is working on fixing Windows 11's context menus. Reworked context menus are supposed to be faster, simpler by default, and "configurable to what you use most." What the latter means is unknown, just like whether Microsoft plans to keep the classic menu alongside the modern one, but according to Marcus, the wait should finally be over soon, as he promised to "share our approach soon." Improved context menus will most likely appear first in Windows 11 preview builds in the Experimental Channel. While we wait for Microsoft to release them, you can try fixing context menus on your PC with a simple tool called Windows 11 Context Menu Manager. It lets you disable entries you do not need, not only cleaning up context menus, but also making them significantly faster. Microsoft has already improved Windows 11's Start menu and taskbar, so hopefully it will address user criticism of the context menu as well. Stay tuned for new Windows 11 preview builds, which usually arrive every Friday.
