I haven't played for months, i just lost interest when we lost the better end and dungeons and weapons mod a few years ago, I'm not one to be picky but all the different versions on one server where confusing to me, i just like the idea of one version, with plugins, a spawn and a world where everyone just builds in one spot and update the version as necessary when plugins for that version have been updated, but that's just me.

If you have a wish list of mods you'd like to see let me know, I'm likely going to do a wipe of the server down the road, start fresh.

Mods i would like to see are,

Better End,

Better Neither,

More Dungeons in end and nether, (Part of better end and neither?) remember visiting a pig castle in the end was intense and hugh! would love to see that mod again!

spawn point saves, like save respawn point and teleport there (Think max we had was 5 last time)

Also, when you die ability to return to where you died with command and keep all your stuff

Disable Creeper Explosions (There annoying lol)

more weapons like we had on the server a while ago, can't remember but i know it was something to do with a wand and a fire chare and you chucked them on the floor to combine? also better crossbow's

Plenty of biomes to give more variation in building blocks

Think that's it, i hope you know what I'm on about but i haven't a clue of the mod names, sorry, all i know we had them on server once on a while ago and the server was so much fun cause there was a lot to do stock Vanilla is boring, mind the new update looks good, but i would like more things to make Vanilla Minecraft better and more explorable! just more variety!

Thanks :)

Now that all my OT is done at work I'll start looking into this, however, I will likely keep multiverse.   Technically we should still have some of those mods on the current world, but I may have botched the setup 😧

Multiverse is ok but because there's not many people that play on the server wouldn't it be better with just one world where we can all build together in one place? i just think it's just pointless having multiple versions of Minecraft on a server especially when we don't have a lot of people that play it and jumping to different versions is just pointless really. why can't we just have one world, latest Minecraft version the plugins etc and update the same world when necessary?

What are your thoughts Matthew? maybe ask the community on what they think. but i don't see many people responding in this thread a lot these days, maybe we are all just getting too old for Minecraft

Multiverse doesn't actually do anything concerning version, just allows us to visit old worlds, they all end up running whatever version the server is running, but you can isolate the plugins that each world has.  The added benefit to Multiverse is that we can have a "testing" world for mods/plugins that don't affect the main world.

One of the issues is our Minecraft community is split between here and the unofficial neowin discord lol...

I was watching a YouTube video of someone playing Minecraft for the first time, and I got the itch so jumped in.

Boy, everything is very different! But I've been able to build a little hut in the mountains, and I've finally started to come across more than 2 blocks of iron deposits at a time!

Small question: Was the food mechanic always like this? Sprinting brings your hunger up pretty quickly, being reduced to a walking pace - especially during a fight - makes things difficult, and I don't seem to have encountered many animals for food...I guess what I need to do is find some wheat and set up a field to make bread, then I'll be sorted.

Please could I be re-whitelisted. I haven't been on the sever since the snowy spawn area.

Added, may still need to fix your perms after, also just a not it's been pretty dead on the server, going to start looking into "refreshing" it.

With saying that, guys/gals, please provide a wishlist and if you have links to mods/improvements you want to try, I'd prefer to run jar mods if possible, datapacks seem to like choking MC.

    • Most boring game ever. Repetitive, empty, predictable, and full of cliches. Total waste of time and money, IMO.
    • Mafia: The Old Country expansion Man of Honor announced, brings back Salieri from original by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe During Summer Game Fest, 2K and Hanger 13 brought out a new Mafia: The Old Country trailer, revealing the game's first expansion. Named Man of Honor, this is slated to add two new chapters to the Enzo storyline that the game follows. There is an iconic character returning to the series with this expansion, with players set to run into Ennio Salieri, the future Don of the Salieri crime family. Fans of the original Mafia, or its Definitive Edition remake, may remember that name as one of the biggest characters in the storyline. This expansion is set prior to his rise to being the kingpin in the City of Lost Heaven. "Set in Sicily during the winter of 1905, Enzo Favara has proven himself a reliable soldier of the Torrisi crime family in the months since his initiation," says the studio about the new chapters. "Now, the Don entrusts him and Cesare with a delicate assignment of assisting Ennio Salieri, a man of honor recently released from prison and intent on reclaiming what is his." Working at Salieri's side, players will be heading into fresh environments as they return to the role of Enzo as a high-ranking soldato. The studio also promises brand-new weapons, fresh vehicles, and charms to collect in this expansion. Moreover, the expansion will add new content to the updated Free Ride mode. Alongside new collectibles and locations, this will add more challenges to beat alongside Salieri, which are described as runs that will "test the skills of even the most elite mafiosi." The Mafia: The Old Country Man of Honor story expansion will release on August 14, 2026, across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. It will cost $10 for owners of the base game to jump into.

    • Telltale returns with The Wolf Among Us, re-revealing the sequel and a new remaster by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Telltale Games, the studio known for its episodic games from the 2000s, had a surprise appearance at the Summer Game Fest showcase today. The studio has gone through a collapse, an acquisition, and a revival but has largely gone silent in recent years. Today's sudden announcement was for the popular The Wolf Among Us series, with news about the sequel and a remaster dropping. Set after the events of the 2013-released title, the sequel will bring back Biby Wolf for a new adventure in Fabletown. This town of fairy tale characters is becoming unstable, with Snow White not being able to keep order as before. "When a brutal series of crimes threatens to fracture the fragile balance holding Fabletown together, Bigby Wolf, sheriff of Fabletown, finds himself drawn into a dangerous conspiracy that reaches deep into the city’s criminal underworld," says the studio. "As suspicion spreads across the city and powerful forces work against him, Bigby must uncover the truth and decide what kind of sheriff - and what kind of wolf - he is willing to become." At the same time, Telltale also announced The Wolf Among Us Remastered, bringing back the classic with a fresh coat of paint. This will include all five episodes from the original game plus over an hour of extra content that will offer behind-the-scenes videos, cast interviews, image galleries, and deleted scenes. The remaster will also have updated visuals and improved UI elements and accessibility features, alongside upgrades to the animations, audio, and frame rates. Telltale has been working on this project for almost a decade now, but if the new release schedule holds, fans will be able to jump into The Wolf Among Us 2 sometime in 2027. As for The Wolf Among Us Remastered, this is slated to release during this holiday season.
