Nothing yet :( ...I hope they fix it soon..I actually thought I was invited and then rejected again   now I know it seems to of happened to all the Aussies who got invited..I'm guessing maybe it will be fixed next few weeks (since Christmas is almost here most of MS are probally on holiday now I'm guessing) also ideas.live.com still reports Windows Live Messenger BETA as "Coming soon"....

Yeah, we're all patiently waiting for them. I hope they sort it out before Christmas, why torture us like this

Just installed mine. Just played little bit with it. A little dissapointed with the sharefolders I thought I will be ablea to share one folder for a couple of persons but the only way I could see is everybody has it's own folder and if you want to share some files you have to copy or move them there. Didn't test the offline messaging yet.

That's it for now.

P.S

The tray icon JUST SUCKS, if anybody from microsoft is reading this forum, then guys do something about that.

LOL! AGREED TIMES 100!

I don't know why you guys are having so many problems... :p

Does anyone else find this new version UGLY??? I'm sorry; I ususally like the new versions of MSN Messenger. But this one has taken a definite turn away from where they were headed...

Yeah I just installed it and am very disappointed with it. The whole colour scheme is terrible, I was expecting transparency and glass effects, but got this awkward popup contact list. With some tweaking that feature could be better and the display pics should be large when it pops up not small. Bottom line is it has some potential, but needs to shed the pumpkin pie scheme and the booger icons.

For windows live messenger: connect.microsoft.com>my participation>wlm8

I'm from Australia, and have just received my "proper" invite to Live Messenger from Microsoft (although I've already been invited by another Neowiner - thanks :) ). Santa had better give me some invites to give away soon...

On another note, I think they need to fix up the tray icon, so I can differentiate between "Busy" and "Away" (among other) statuses.

People in Australia who filled out the survey will now have adownload link in their inbox and will get 5 invitations for windows live messenger!.

Hmmm... I've got the download link, but I'm yet to receive my 5 invitations :(

EDIT: I've accepted the invitation using another account, and now I can use the invitations :D

All working for me!

that is not fair! Just watch the other countries complain and MS giving everyone else 5 invites :p

The bug submission form is usually on the "Feedback Overview" page. However, they've disabled it for now (as written on the home page).

    • Haven't used Google for almost 10 years now and have no issues. Lately all my searches are done via Copilot. Even better contextualised answers.
    • This is needed! Good to see them working on it. My solution up until now at work is to hide all MY folders, showing only the shortcuts, but linking my personal folders to the corresponding Libraries. Having this exposed in the Navigation pane of File Explorer means that I have easy nested access to my stuff, as well as all the shortcuts under the OneDrive folder when needed, often open as I only have about 10 or so linked sources.
