Bioshock General Discussion ( Xbox 360 )

Recommended Posts

You know, I hate you people. Here I am minding my own business, impatiently waiting for Bioshock to come out, when I get into work this morning and see that some of you have already played the demo. It's so not fair :p Now, I have to wait until I get home later tonight to start downloading it...

This comic pretty much sums up my feelings... :p

I played the demo before I left for work this morning and the only thing I can say is......mother?

This game is fekkin amazing and creepy! For those of you who have played the demo, how did you feel about the Little Sister as you walked above her on the catwalk? The last time I felt that scared/freaked out of a kid was the little girl in FEAR and before that the babies room/crib in Phantasmagoria!

8 hours and counting until I get to try it...

Also get a load of this. I left my 360 on over night as I had not downloaded it in full before I went to bed, woke up, and it was still only at 73%!!!!! That is 7 hours later!!!

Stopped the download, and then just started it again, and it was flying.

I just cannot believe the marketplace takes that much of a hit and obviously does not fix itself when so many people want the same thing. Seems almost inexcusable for a service we have to pay for.

Well you don't have to pay to get the demos :ninja: .

Dying to play this. I am on 36%, started about 20mins ago. It's wierd, it seems I can download content much faster through Xboxlive than on my PC, and I network my 360 through my pc to get a connection, I downloaded the Darkness demo(1.27gb) in about 65mins, but on my pc I get about 210 to 220 k/bs at max That wouldn't get a 1gb in an hour.... . I am so confused.

mines downloading atm 60% wooo getting there

feel sorry for the people from japan:

"Content: BioShock Demo

Price: Free

Availability: Not available in Japan" from MajorNelson's blog

edit: acies i also download stuff faster on my 360 but my 360 is plugged straight into the router

Damn the need to work for a living!

I got the game on pre-order (and I never pre-order), but I think the demo will tide me over. Shall have to hope the other-half isn't playing Hitman when I get in tonight. Well, I suppose she can play while I download. Yeah, till the download is done!

What was the big announcement that was supposed to be released on Sunday? I know there is a thread on the PS3 forums about it coming out for the PS3 also and people were speculating that was the announcement.

LOL, no way would they announce a PS3 version like that before it's been released for 360. The Demo was the announcement.

Stuck on 65% now:(

No halo WILL NOT out-do it.

Halo is poo. Get some fresh air!

And YOU, GET OFF NEOWIN. We don't need lame trollers like yourself :) Good day

Green_Eye, my accent isn't that bad :p

scazza think its ?36.99 on shopto.net the limited and the normal for some reason?

That is not the limited edition on ShopTo>. It's a tin case version. Nothing more. Limited Edition is exclusive to GAME and it's sub companies

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
    • Same place "Unreal III" is, in everyone's thoughts!
    • So how much water is used in that "initial charge" and how often will it need to be recharged?
