That joke doesn't make any sense to me, a lot of physicists in the former Soviet Union won Nobel Prizes and MIPT is a college that is known to have graduated a lot of a Nobel Prize winners.

Recently watched the first three episodes and am liking it so far, still need to catch up a bit.

Its funny because he works as a janitor in a science facility :p

here is hoping for more great eps and a 2nd season ? :D

It's just poking fun at how sometimes skilled immigrants end up in crappy jobs. I suppose it doesn't make as much sense with Physics and Russia, but it's still a little funny.

Nice to see a "mainstream" show that requires some sort of technical experience. Makes me feel smart.

I would still rather take Penny over her. I was very surprised with this show, and can't wait for season 2
