Windows Vista Service Pack 1 RTM x86 leaked

Recommended Posts

So I guess slipstreaming can be done afterall then since I know for a fact that sp1 really is integrated in the iso.

Okay, so SP1's in the iso. Well done!

You DO know that Sp1 betas and refreshes also came in ISO form as well as EXE form?

(Which is, for the lack of a credible source, what you currently have - the refresh.)

For the record, there isn't a way to slipstream SP1 into Vista (officially)

I have Vista Ultimate installed with a MSDN licence key and it has already downloaded the Service Pack 1 via Auto Updates.

Let the Plebs wait

Hmm... I dunno if that's a good enough source? A random person posting they got it via Auto Updates. IIRC, the only thing on AU is the refresh, using the hack. Hmmm.

Andy : Sorry, didn't mean to get defensive, been a long day :)

6001.18000.080126-2040 is the build i'm looking for -- i tried the one you're referring to and had problems with networking not coming up on boot until the networking adapter was disabled/enabled (nforce4 ethernet), and a couple of errors in the event log -- problems i never had with previous rc's -- i think the original build is fuxed, and keep an eye peeled for 6001.18000.080126-2040!

DAMN! that woman is beautiful.

looks like every other swimsuit model chick i've ever seen

whats the difference?

NO

Having to much fun with this.

i'm going to wait until (SP1) RED comes out

not

so acording to main page news the build will match windows 2008 server

http://apcmag.com/7960/microsoft_replaces_...a_kernel_in_SP1

in fact it is win2008 kernel modified for vista

i guess some of us are already running SP1 then

:( i would install it but i can't find it on nzb sites or few torrent sites i visted guess people still waiting for offical word before torrets bring down the internet

to tell u truth been a bit lazy i could have download headers for usenet but to lazy maybe it's already there .

question: i see torrents with the full dvd(sp1 integrated) with build 6001.18000.080118-1840. i guess this is the real deal? since i have read somewhere that sp1 cant be slipstreamed, i would guess this is the real deal...right?

No idea, but I can confirm

are all out there :/

I'm grabbing one to Vlite and install and see what it's like.

The only way i'll change to Vista is if I can vlite the crap outta the ISO :p

Its NOT THE FINAL.

It hasn't been released. READ.

I don't really think anyone knows for sure, it could end up being the final build (6001.18000.080118-1840).

I'm doing an integrated install of it anyway, to test it out. If it ends up not being final I seriously doubt anything major is missing.

been wondering where directx10.1 support was, well have a look in system32 folder, you'll find the following files d3d10_1.dll & d3d10_1core.dll, i assume they just added the support for 10.1 but didn't see the need for a build number change in windows.

btw those files weren't there before installing sp1, so i'm going with dx10.1 is in sp1!

install the RTM with the WU Hack and u will see it is the final

Is this the one that was published on 1/28/2008? Because all that's showing up for me right now is the RC1 which was published on Jan. 28th.

[sarcasm]Yes because that will make it stable and reliable.

SP1 will add more stability/reliability.

As for Vlite, I use it so after an install I don't need to spend ages turning everything off I don't need - Instead I can just rip it from the installation completely.

I've used Nlite for over a year, and if you know what you're doing, there are no issues. My XP cd is 173mb.

why not just wait for it to be released, instead of running the risk of installing some 'SP1' thjat some kiddie has injected trojans or whatever into.

I mean..> What's the rush?........Bragging rights???

    • Limited Prime Day deal sees Amazon Echo Show 11 is at its lowest price yet by Ivan Jenic The Amazon Echo Show 11 is currently $149.99 on Amazon during Prime Day, down from $219.99. That's 32% off and $70 saved on Amazon's newest mid-size smart display (purchase link below). As its name suggests, the Echo Show 11 features a 11” Full-HD touchscreen, which is a decent upgrade over the Echo Show 8. It offers 60% more viewing area, which makes a genuine difference for recipes, calendars, video calls, or any other scenario where the smaller display can feel a bit cramped. The Show 11 is built around Alexa+, Amazon's more capable AI assistant that can handle natural conversation. You can make reservations, order groceries, and find content based on your preferences, instead of always having to give it precise commands. There’s also the Omnisense technology, which adds ambient awareness, allowing the device to trigger routines based on temperature, presence detection, or visual cues. Smart home control is built in without needing a separate hub, and the home screen doubles as a photo slideshow when not in use. Taking all of this into account, the Show 11 is a perfect smart addition to your kitchen counter or living room. At $149.99, this is a strong Prime Day buy for anyone already in the Amazon ecosystem or looking to build one out.
