Not only that, MacWorld sucked this year. They gave a demo about iPhone 3.0, but that was it. No mention of Snow Leopard.

Yes, I'm fully aware but WWDC wasn't one of those events. Apple will host consumer events when and where they want to. WWDC is still roughly the same time every year.

That's MacWorld was. They're using events like this to announce their new produts, even if it is a developer's conference. Case-in-point: their announcement of the Macbook refresh. And if they announce the new iPhone, that too.
