so far i got everything max and seems like its holding up good ( from the login screen at least, lol ) what is the best bloom option?

also i have a couple check box's that has nothign next to them, any ideas what they are suposed to be ( anybody got a XP/Vista ) options screen @ login i can see to compare ?

I dunno about the best bloom option, I really haven't been able to tell very much difference between the three. I think it just comes down to how much uh... HDR you want. The second option seemed to add the most lighting effects to me. So that's the one I chose. Maybe when we get our boxes for the game the manual will tell us what the difference with each option is.

I've also got a blank option check box on both graphics and audio tabs. No idea what they are for. Maybe something that hasn't been fully implemented yet. Searching on the beta board doesn't pull up any relevant results.

There's a fix on the betaboards if the patch tomorrow doesn't do the trick.

Confirmed and the GameGuard error is gone. :D

Sweet. Hopefully this makes a lot of people happier. The update downloaded without me even knowing there was one since the NC launcher was in the background.

replaced the new gameguard.des with the old one before i patched it myself, will see if it fixed my GG error

*Edit* yep it did, awsome, but didnt fix the blank option box's

Glad to hear that it fixed the GG problem. And I still have no idea what the blank option boxes are for. I'm sure we'll find out sooner or later...my best guess is they are things that are not activated or finished/fully implemented yet. No idea why they wouldn't be though. I created a thread on the beta boards to see if anyone knew what was up with them but no replies to it yet.

Could one of help me on an issue, It seems after i did one of those "auto detect spec" Aion coms up as a black blank screen but i could hear music only. is there a way to set every back to default?

Unfortunately I don't have any idea where to begin with solving that problem. I'd say look the the NCsoft/Aion folder in your program files and see if there is a preference file you could delete. Or failing that a full reinstall, I guess. :(

update* hmmm, apparently the game seems to restore back to default after a comp restart. thx for the help Trag, i'm gonna stop messing with the settings till the full game is out. C u all on in 12 hours or is it 9?

Just FYI everybody: If you're getting the stupid GameGuard Error 114 (the code that nobody really knows the meaning of) try setting compatibility settings to XP SP3 and make it run as Administrator (on NCLauncher.exe). That fixed all my issues.

Spork - if you make a new master account, you will have to use a new beta key, im able to log into the beta boards ( uses game account login ) so no idea whats going on with yours, try the forgot password thing
