Thanks,

Later today I will update the visual style to address the issues below:

- x86 blank graphics in Systray, IE8 Search

- Start Panel has an unblurred portion when opening it up (Fix: Widen the solid Program List area to cover the unblurred portion)

Nice! Any update on the normal title bar? :)

I'll have an default Aero/caption frame version. I'll have a variation listing in the DeviantArt details area. Hopefully I'll get that done today, too :)

Perhaps even one with the default taskbar/startmenu included for those who really like the base of the theme, but not so much frames and outer styling.

Still getting the wide system try bug..

Oh wait, you fixed it in 3.0, but broke it again in 3.1. :p

Yeah, you're right.

I noticed that the Soft VS recent update is also having problems where the bug is reappearing. I have to compile the theme in x86 each time now to 'fix' it. :s

Have you patched your Windows to allow custom visual styles? Use the tool here - http://uxstyle.com/

I have extracted the files from the download

Copy/Pasted it to Windows/Resources/Themes

Installed the theme but nothing changes even after the restart

And i have downloaded the uxpatch and well it just installs

What does that application does?

Mine does the same thing. The only thing that changed for me was the start orb after swapping it over. (Yes i patched using uxtheme).

Looks like im going back to standard for now :(

You shouldn't have to restart to apply the theme. How are you installing the theme. When I did it I right clicked on desktop --> personalize --> then choose ClearScreen from the 'installed themes section'.

Installing the theme shouldn't change the start orb. I thought that only got replaced after explorer.exe, or is that what you mean?

    • My only concern would be the state of the battery. I'd be getting one from a place you trust and perhaps has a decent warranty.
    • Like yourself Steven P I have watched it from the days of William Hartnell, It was good when we had the Darlek's and the Cybermen. Sad to see one of the longest running shows in the world die a sad death.
    • My problem with FF is I have to jump through hoops to get at least somewhat close to what Vivaldi gives me out of the box, with no real advantage that would make it worth my while. (But hey, apparently there's now at least experimental support for HDR in FF. I mean it's about a decade too late, but still...finally!) Brave I was never the least interested in, never saw the point, not to mention there's been quite a bit of drama surrounding them over the years. But I've been a faithful and very happy Opera user all the way back to 2001(ish), so once Vivaldi showed up following that awkward period of time after the key people left Opera and the company was sold, I never really looked back. And they never once made me question my choices.
    • Need to dust it again dangit, come on McDonalds, do your thing !?
    • I see it has more memory, more storage, a better CPU, and a stylus, as you said. Might be a good alternative. I see some refurbished for $150-200. I'm not scared of refurnbished, as a lot of parts in my house are refurbished/used. All are working atm.
