Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti admits the club are 'evaluating' bids for striker Mario Balotelli.

The 19-year-old forward has been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent weeks, with Premier League neighbours Manchester United and City thought to be interested in his signature.

Nerazzurri sporting director Marco Branca has recently declared Balotelli 'priceless', but Moratti says the club are considering offers.

He told Sky Italia: "Mario has started training again with professionalism. He is a player of great talent.

"He has offers from other clubs and we are evaluating them."

When asked to reveal what he would do if someone made an 'indecent proposal' for Balotelli, he added: "City and United are serious clubs who will be evaluating their transfer strategy.

"For the moment, we are far from this solution."

Fiery striker Balotelli is regarded as a hot prospect for the future and has been tipped by many to move to England this summer.

Barcelona have confirmed they have ?50 million (?41.7m) to spend in the transfer market this summer.

The Spanish giants were forced to seal a five-year ?155 million loan on Wednesday in order to resolve long-term cash-flow problems.

Since June Barca have had issues regarding player and staff wages and new president Sandro Rosell has set about resolving the club's finances.

The Catalans have already secured a move for former Valencia striker David Villa this summer, for ?40 million, while there is the ongoing transfer saga with Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.

Spain midfielder Fabregas was forced into a Barca shirt by team-mates during his country's World Cup celebrations, and the La Liga champions will be hoping their transfer budget will be enough to lure him to the Nou Camp.

"The club has approximately ?50 million net to spend on new players each season," said a statement on the club's official website.

"In the case of this season, buying David Villa (?40 million) combined with the sales of Yaya Toure and Dmytro Chygrynskiy balance themselves out.

"This means the club still has ?50 million to spend."

Barca have already had a bid of ?35 million (?29m) for Fabregas rejected by the Gunners, and they are expected to up that offer.

It remains to be seen if funds from further player sales will be added to the kitty, as speculation regarding the futures of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Rafael Marquez continues.

if this goes through besides notables of ramos, casillias and torres, the barcalona team would essentially be the spanish team.

Sorry.. not gonna happen.. we dont need money and cant afford losing Cesc.. Barca dont have the money and want the player who won Spain the WC for a ridiculously low price.. plus they have gone and committed the cardinal sin of disrespecting a football club who has a long term contract with the player and are not desperate for cash.. come back next year Barca and show us some d**n respect and cash!!

All go at West Ham!

moar City News!

Lazio coach Edy Reja has revealed that left-back Aleksandar Kolarov's move to Manchester City is almost complete.

The Serbia international has been linked with a ?17million transfer to Eastlands for several months as reports suggest Roberto Mancini is not convinced by Wayne Bridge.

Reja has previously said that he is expecting Kolarov to be present at pre-season training and that he wants to keep hold of the 24-year-old.

But the Lazio boss has now confessed that a deal with Premier League City is close to being announced.

Sevilla utility player Adriano is nearing a move to Barcelona, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The versatile Brazilian, who can play at full-back or as a wide midfielder, has reportedly agreed a deal worth in the region of 10million euros to Sevilla.

Adriano joined Sevilla in 2004 and has enjoyed a fruitful career which has seen him twice taste victory in the Uefa Cup final in 2006 and 2007.

He looks set to become Barca's first signing since the arrival of new president Sandro Rosell earlier this month.

Skysports.com can confirm Liverpool have made a move to sign French striker Loic Remy from under the noses of West Ham and Tottenham.

New Reds boss Roy Hodgson has entered the race for the Nice ace and is hoping to beat his Premier League rivals to the forward's signature.

Remy is regarded as one of the best young strikers in Europe after impressing at Nice over the last few seasons.

The 23-year-old, who has been likened to Thierry Henry, scored 16 goals for Nice last season and has broken into the France national team.

West Ham had been leading the chase for Remy after making a couple of sizeable offers for the striker, but they were unable to agree a fee with Nice.

However, they could now lose out on Remy with Liverpool firming up their interest in the player with a bid.

Liverpool's technical director Eduardo Macia is believed to have been tracking Remy for five years and he has recommended Hodgson make a move for the pacy hit-man.

(Y) the boys need some french influence ;)

and how the hell does barcelona still have money? what are they the broke real madrid in spain? they are going to end up like liverpool.

West Ham have signed Mexico winger Pablo Barrera and expect to unveil two further recruits later on Friday.

Barrera, 23, arrives at Upton Park for a fee of ?4m from UNAM Pumas after impressing during the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.

He made three substitute appearances as Mexico advanced to the second round.

Barrera is the Hammers' second signing of the summer after Germany midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger arrived on a free transfer from Lazio.

The pacy Barrera, who featured against England in Mexico's 3-1 defeat in May, is nicknamed 'Dynamite' in his homeland.

"I have been really taken by the reception I have received from the players and the manager," he said.

"The fans can expect that I will give 100% to succeed for the team and to play better than I have ever player before."

ben haim is pretty decent. good pick up (Y)

He was earning 38k a week at Pompey, earlier talk of him going to West Ham were scuppered by his wage demands. ?Oh and he could have left Pompey for nothing as his contract allowed him to leave (if he wanted to) when relegated.

Some Pompey fans are sort of pleased to see him go! ?He can be a good defender but I think at Pompey he was ring rusty, a pre season and regular football will suit him.

    • What OS is that? It looks a bit like Mac OS but the command line suggests it isn't, either way I like it!
    • Outlook classic is inherently better than new outlook, for a number of reasons. That said, if the only reason people need office is to read email, they should just use thunderbird.
    • Windows 11 is a big thumbs down from me. I used for a period of a few days while it was in insider and windows 10 was the main OS, and realised it wasn't for me. I am still waiting for Windows to be tolerable again, a shame as at one point I was very pro Microsoft.
    • Classic outlook, not only does it have a much fuller feature set, it doesn't include Microsoft attempting to sync my emails from my servers to theirs. If classic outlook is ever removed from office, and the version I paid for in 2021 stops working for some reason, I'll use Thunderbird.
