Remember when I was talking about the avs rollercoaster ride? That ride is about to go up a gear, Peter Forsberg is back and practicing with Colorado. One one hand he helped the avs make the playoffs on 08 and can make plays that no one else in an avs uniform can, on the other, you just have to look at him and he gets injured. Watch this space.

i love how i am going to the hab game on saturday, but half the team is injured. cammi, pacorietty, pouliot maybe, markov and georges... solid.

Why not just sell your ticket? lol.

Leafs defeat the Ducks 5-3 last night.

i love peter forsberg as much as the next guy, but with no ankles and knees, you really think he is going to be able to do anything?

casue it's my first time in montreal watching a game at the bell center with koivu making his return :p

I honestly think he won't be able to do much, but I hope i'm proven wrong. If anything his experience will prove valuable to the young guys on the team. But apart from that I'm not expecting much. I think he should call it a day, he's won a couple of Stanley Cups, dozens of medals for Sweeden, the Art Ross, the Hart, and is a lock for the hall of fame, what else is there to achieve?

nothing, he is one of the best players we have ever watched. i just hit saying athletes that don't know when to call it quits and embarrass themselves.

... and is a lock for the hall of fame...

He's a lock for the Hall of Fame? I knew he was good and did a lot for the game but I didn't think he did that much or was that valuable to the game to deserve a spot in the Hall. No disrespect to him, he was awesome. I just never thought of him as Hall material.

I don't think he'll have much of an impact when he comes back. His ankles and knees are weak and with the state of the game being hard and fast... I can see him out quick. Hopefully he can make an impact though while he's back, if he makes it back. He was fun to watch.

Totally agree with this, i'm trying to think of some examples but my mind has gone blank. :p

Not anymore. He refused.

If he doesn't report to the Islanders then he isn't playing anywhere. The Isles could attempt to trade him but they'd have to put him through waivers first. I assume they'll consider him in breach of contract and just not pay him.

i would rather not play then play on long island...

He's already refused. That means they're not keeping him no matter what so that means you put him back on waivers and hope to trade him if he clears. Detroit will get him if the other 28 teams don't pick him up.

being at the bell center for koivu's homecoming was amazing. will never forget it. good hockey game too, full of drama. my streak continues though, be to 6-7 games of each team, never seen the ducks lose but have never seen the habs win...

Also heard that he has a no-movement clause as well last night from LeBrun on HNIC.

I saw the highlights, that's part of what makes hockey awesome.

He has a no-movement clause that states the team can't move him without his permission. I'm pretty sure he'll allow movement in this case lol

Why should the Islanders try to move him? He won't be taking his salary because he won't report. They will gain another year of rights over him at a very low salary for next year if he doesn't report this year.

    • If they don't sell enough of the 1st gen then there won't be a 2nd gen
    • Epic fail, should've added an eSata port on the back, also if the memory/NVME are soldered then they're hardly gonna sell any, first thing most people do with their Steamdeck is, or used to be, replacing the NVME with a 2TB one.

    • Nice to see! Especially now with Arm64 VMs getting more popular and sometimes even cheaper than traditional x86 ones in datacenters.
