The Games with Gold program is returning in 2020 with another batch of games, with Microsoft today announcing what experiences will be heading the way of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers in January.
Even in the new year, the usual freebie formula of two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games will remain a constant. The Xbox 360 games will also be Xbox One Backward Compatibility titles, letting users play them natively on the latest console.

Styx: Shards of Darkness (Xbox One: January 1 - 31)
Hired for a critical mission, explore and master huge open environments as Styx, alone or in coop with a friend. Tekken 6 (Xbox 360 and Xbox One: January 1 - 15)
A large roster of unique characters, fast-paced action, a deep level of strategy, and the rich background story have all helped make the TEKKEN series the top in its genre.TEKKEN 6 has the largest character roster to date, Online VS Battle, and other new content created for the home version. Use the improved, more in-depth character customization options to customize your favorite characters and face off against rivals online!
LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (Xbox 360 and Xbox One: January 16 - 31)
LEGO® Star Wars® II: The Original Trilogy reunites the fun and endless creativity of LEGO with the epic story, heroic characters, and exciting action of the Star Wars universe. In this highly anticipated follow-up game, follow the tongue-in-cheek, brick-based action through all three epic films of the original Star Wars Trilogy.
This is a rather early announcement compared to previous months, so there's plenty of time left to grab the still active Games with Gold offerings from December 2019. Insane Robots and Jurassic World Evolution are available for Xbox One owners, while Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD can be claimed by Xbox 360 owners.
