Microsoft adds four more games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list

Microsoft today added four new Xbox 360 games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list. Today's additions include Astropop, MOH Airborne, Oblivion, and Trine 2.

Tuesday and Thursday are the typical days for new backward compatible games, although we didn't get any last Thursday, due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the US. Tuesday saw three additions, which included Burnout Paradise, Pure, and Rayman Legends.

Astropop ($9.99)

Upgrade to the full game to unlock your ability to earn achievements and track your high scores!

MOH Airborne ($14.99)

Take to the skies in Medal of Honor Airborne, where your choices will turn the tide of WWII. Starting with your jump from a C-47, every choice you make can seal your fate. In the air, control your parachute to select the landing spot that brings you the greatest strategic advantage. On the ground, explore the open, vertical environment for positions that will provide you a tactical edge against your enemies. Then, head onto Xbox LIVE for furious multiplayer battles in three different modes, including all-new Airborne modes! You decide where to drop, you decide how to fight. It's a different war every time.

Oblivion ($14.99)

Step inside the most richly detailed and vibrant game-world ever created. Oblivion is the latest chapter in the epic Elder Scrolls saga. With a powerful combination of freeform gameplay and unprecedented graphics, you can unravel the main quest at your own pace or explore the vast world and find your own challenges.

Trine 2 ($14.99)

The sequel to GameSpot's Best Downloadable Game of E3 2009 takes the first game's beloved triad--the powerful knight, the swift rogue, and the crafty wizard--and puts them into an all-new high-fantasy, physics-based action platforming adventure with 3-person cooperative online multiplayer!

By our count, the Backward Compatibility list now contains 295 games, meaning that Microsoft may hit the milestone of 300 by next week. It's only been less than three months since the company reached its last major milestone, announcing that the list had 250 titles on it.

Also, don't forget about Games with Gold, the program that offers four free games per month to Xbox Live Gold members. You've got just today and tomorrow to claim Super Dungeon Bros (Xbox One) and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon (Xbox 360), and you can grab Murdered: Soul Suspect (Xbox One) until December 15. Beginning in two days, you'll be able to begin claiming next month's Games with Gold, which include Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition (Xbox One) and Outland (Xbox 360).
