Microsoft has announced that it is making a bunch of changes to the OneDrive Files On-Demand experience in macOS based on the user feedback it received regarding the current version.

Microsoft has announced that it is ending support for the OneDrive desktop sync client on Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 next year. Affected users have been asked to upgrade to Windows 10 or Windows 11.
