Meph, i am still thinking we need to put in a request for a White list form and Neowin Minecraft Page on the More menu, do you think we can get some backing to have this pushed through it would make whitelisting and not missing people easier. as well as having a central updated area for status and news of the server rather than it being a forum page.

i second this

then this page can just be used for talking about the server and shares each others projects. and not be cluttered by whitelist requests

I think a subforum for requests is more likely to happen (or just another sticky thread).  Anything else would most likely require time/effort.

I haven't played on the server. I don't have it except the demo. I'll get it sometime maybe. However do you guys keep a list? I read on here so many people ask to be white listed. But what about black listing? Is there a list saved?

Always curious how you guys do this, I'll get the game sometime and try it out haha.

Maybe in the mean time you could use a quick and dirty gdocs form to keep track of requests?

Not unlike this one: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1yl3brdXT3bqbTeJberrp-2Bdnw3m2M5ROW6PyMnMf9U/viewform

(don't submit anything there, its just a mock up)

I cant build either. I have the 3rd house in the line of houses but I cant label it and I cant build either

Odd. You should be able to build for all intents and purposes. I'll look into it later.

Woohoo i managed to collect some wood

make a crafting table

make a wooden pickaxe

and get back to a house to hide

Lol i am currently hiding in a cave i carved into the rock

Still to find some coal :(

Haggis: There are a few houses right at the spawn. One is still free - you can use it as temporary home until you have gathered more resources.

A public farm is right across the road if you need food.

lol its cool i was using one of the house to hide in at night but i went away for a walk so just dug myself a hole to live in and blocked myself in it

I have a Furnace, a Chest, A Crafting Table and a torch

All set :P

I just not sure if i will be able to find it again if i die lol

    • I can name 10x that on why not to switch.... It's funny outlook/office are going towards web app wrappers, and then MS is now preaching native apps again.... ugh can we just pick a lane and stay in it
    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
