Would you rather see a team like Detroit who I am sick of seeing make the finals again and again? The finals this year are going to be fresh and they will be awesome.

yeah, thats why the forced a game 7 and why no team was able to win two games in a row in this series, only the 5th time in history i believe.

the flyers did better than any other team in the east... they got to the conf finals, and they will be back.

Oh well another Philadelphia sports team lost before the finals, no shock there.

yes, but this is the closest they have been in a long time. and they held on to the end.

you cannot deny that they had an excellent series. they were the only team to really give the lightning a problem so far...

tampa won the first series 4-1 against the isles and won the second series 4-0 against the habs. they are a DAMN good team... and phila was right there... game seven down by one goal.

they had an excellent season. NOONE CAN DENY THAT.

at least the flyers made the playoffs. the rangers hasnt made the playoffs in 6 or 7 seasons.
