Interesting Draw.

I think United vs Barca in one Semi Final and Liverpool vs Chelsea in the other.

Final will be United vs Liverpool.

If it was any other match (say a Premier League Match) I think Liverpool wouldn;t beat Arsenal or Chelsea but considering they have some magic european thing going on, they seem to be able to perform and get the results in Europe.

Found this on the icLiverpool website, which is the pretty interesting...

In my opinion the draw looks like it has been fixed, and the bookies stopped taking bets on the draw this morning so that further backs it up.

i dont agree with the bookie thing, not all bookies were taking the bet in the first place, and generally if the public know rumours of something happening the bookies wont take a chance on it

I wouldnt be surprised if the draw was rigged. How the hell do chelsea always get the easiest of opponents in both the FA cup and UCL?

I certainly agree with Chelsea in the FA Cup this year but to be honest that backfired when they faced Barnsley :p

Fenerbarche won't be easy tho they have a very good side!

Well if one Turkish team qualifies everybody supports them but being the fact a billion English teams are in CL, I can see we share a common hope. At least Fenerbah?e won't be as easy as others think. We have a great stadium.:))

Arsenal will knock out Liverpool.

Crystal ball ;)?

Arsenal are a great team, but in someways I am glad most people are coming out with sweeping statements such as yours. I mean; Inter, Juventus, Barca, AC Milan and Chelsea all said the same and look what happened. I like being the underdogs!

Fenernbace maybe the easiest opponent at stamford bridge, but when the tie goes to turkey, its a whole new story. Just look at Turkey against England.....

I think its the opposite Liverpool are favourites and Arsenal are underdogs, Arsenals performances lately in League have been a bit poor especially being the time of the season it is so this will be a tough game for them.

me too, we score first in either game and arsenal is screwed

but on the other hand our manager is benitez and god knows what lineup he'll put out

Juventus weren't even in the Champions league this year, so that's a pretty **** poor example.

One thing I doubt you can argue with rajput, is that Benitez has a pretty good record in the Champions League, so I trust him :).

Who did the poll? Peter Crouch as top scorer?

Hahaha he can't even get into the Liverpool first XI.

In fairness, I think Crouchy was like first/joint first/second top scorer in the Champions League last season.

I like the fella, but he does not really fit into our system unless we are resting Torres.

That is a bit harsh. They were in it two seasons ago, and they had the likes of Buffon, Vieira, Zambrotta, Ibrahimovic, Trezeguet, Del Piero, Cannavaro, Nedved etc in their team. We still beat them, in the Champions League, under Benitez. It does not matter though, we are **** though apparently?

    • I like the show more options. The only problem with it is that it's not always in a consistent spot in the menu. If the copy/paste/cut, happens to show on top, then more option is the last in the menu. But if copy/paste/cut happens to show on the bottom, then more options is before the copy/paste/cut. But I do like the more options because it hides the stuff that I rarely use. But I would like to choose what it is or isn't hiding. That would make it better.
    • I wonder if "put it back the way it was for decades" ever crossed their minds? 🤣
    • Rescind the stupid "Show more options" in context menus and just give us the full menu instead of adding more steps to get to what we want. The "simpler by default" makes me think they'll go in the opposite direction. Every context menu should have a configure button so you can pick and choose what options should be shown, I know you can do that with some registry fu but that shouldn't be required.
    • This is why competition must exist. Finally, pressure is mounting on Microsoft to move in the right direction.
    • Microsoft is making Windows 11's context menus faster, simpler, and configurable by Taras Buria Five years ago, Windows 11 introduced redesigned context menus, offering users a simpler, more modern design. However, customers quickly discovered that the new menus leave a lot to be desired. Many are unhappy with performance (they are really slow), while others dislike the double-layed design, where many options are hidden behind the "Show more options" button. In addition, over the years, menus became cluttered and overloaded. While Microsoft has already fixed plenty of pain points across Windows 11, context menus remain mostly unchanged. Fortunately, Microsoft is finally listening. Marcus Ash, Design and Research Lead for Windows at Microsoft, responded to a tweet on X, confirming that the company is working on fixing Windows 11's context menus. Reworked context menus are supposed to be faster, simpler by default, and "configurable to what you use most." What the latter means is unknown, just like whether Microsoft plans to keep the classic menu alongside the modern one, but according to Marcus, the wait should finally be over soon, as he promised to "share our approach soon." Improved context menus will most likely appear first in Windows 11 preview builds in the Experimental Channel. While we wait for Microsoft to release them, you can try fixing context menus on your PC with a simple tool called Windows 11 Context Menu Manager. It lets you disable entries you do not need, not only cleaning up context menus, but also making them significantly faster. Microsoft has already improved Windows 11's Start menu and taskbar, so hopefully it will address user criticism of the context menu as well. Stay tuned for new Windows 11 preview builds, which usually arrive every Friday.
