Adebayor is an awesome player. Lets see where he ends up.

Any word where Quaresma from Porto may be headed? I know there were a few clubs interested in him.

I am an Arsenal fan and I say.. let him or van Persie go and plz plz get Arshavin!!

I doubt he'll go from Russia to Turkey, I can see him at Barca or Sevilla.

According to reports today.. He said he wants Spain and his favorite club is Barca :( Its a pity he would've become a hero at Arsenal and instead he opts for a club thats really not settled these days with all the players coming and going and Rijkaard can be fired if things don't or well for them.. but there is still hope.. 'cmon Wenger get in there with ?30M:pp

ooooh and also... Barca want Adebayor but cant afford him.. Arsenal want ?30M for him atleast but no one can match that so far.. Barca are willing to pay ?30M but they can only after selling Et'o and Ronaldinho

Garcia wanted to make a return to his homeland (I think to raise his children), and he was also a sweetner in the Torres deal.

Xabi looks like he may be leaving, because we have to sell before we can buy. So it will be Xabi out and Barry in. As much as I adore Alonso, and I do want him to stay (and I want Barry as well :p), anyone would admit that Xabi has been off form for two years or so now.

Nasri has just signed for Arsenal. Lucky blighters, he is a class player.

Yeah, or so i've heard.. never seen him play live.. I was hoping he'd get more time on the pitch in Euro but Domenech didnt give him much of a chance and also didnt give us a chance to see what the lad can do.. I just hope he is as good as the hype is!

:p btw just heard.. McLarren is now the boss at FC Twente!! He is pretty decent manager at club level.. lets see how it goes for him there..

Liverpool defender Alvaro Arbeloa is ready to incur the wrath of Manchester United by urging Cristiano Ronaldo to join Real Madrid.

Real's pursuit of Ronaldo is emerging as the transfer saga of the summer, with the Spanish giants hoping to lure the Portuguese ace to El Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo has yet to declare what his intentions are, with United adamant they do not want to sell the 23-year-old maestro.

Arbeloa, speaking in Austria where is he preparing for Spain's Euro 2008 semi-final with Russia, believes the departure of Ronaldo from Old Trafford would provide a boost for arch-rivals Liverpool.

"If Ronaldo plays in Real Madrid it will be good news because he is one of the best players in the world and is our enemy at the moment," Arbeloa told Sky Sports News.

"If he can play for Real Madrid for me it is perfect.

"For us it would be a good news because for Manchester United he is very important and if Ronaldo is not in Manchester for Liverpool it is good."

Liverpool have rejected a bid for Peter Crouch from Portsmouth, BBC Radio Merseyside understands.

Neither club are prepared to comment on the reports but the offer is believed to have been in the region of ?9m.

The 27-year-old forward played under Pompey boss Harry Redknapp at Southampton before he moved to Merseyside in 2005.

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has hinted he would consider offers for Crouch in the region of ?15m.

The England international has scored 40 goals in 135 appearances for the Anfield side but has struggled to hold down a first-team place since the arrival of Fernando Torres.

A host of top European clubs are monitoring Gilberto Silva's situation at Arsenal, skysports.com understands.

Gilberto, who has one-year left on his current contract, is set to discuss his future with agent Frank Trimboli when he returns from holiday later this month.

Wenger would be loath to lose Gilberto having already seen Flamini leave the club this summer, but he could face a fight to keep the South American out of the clutches of rival clubs.

Wesley Sneijder: "I'd like to comment briefly on the reports and rumours that I might be going to Manchester United as part of some kind of exchange deal," Sneijder told his personal website. "As I've said already, when I left Ajax, all I wanted was to go to Real Madrid. They are the best club in the world.

"And now that I'm here, all I want is to win as many trophies as I can with them and wear the white shirt for as long as possible.

"The same rumours have been doing the rounds about Robinho. Well, I hope he stays too, and I hope that Cristiano Ronaldo joins us at the Bernabeu.

"In short, I'm flattered to be linked to Manchester United...but it's not happening. End of story."

Redknapp told The News: "Nicky Shorey is a player I like. He's a good player and a good footballer.

"We're looking for players who would give us something a bit different and he would do that. He would give us something different to Hermann Hreidarsson. Having said that, Hermann did a fantastic job for us and was brilliant for me.

    • Apple finally brings the slider for Liquid Glass and many other changes by Aditya Tiwari Apple kicked off the official live stream of the WWDC 2026 annual developer event. The company began its latest wave of announcements with changes to the controversial Liquid Glass design language, which debuted last year across Apple's entire software ecosystem. A lot of people didn't like Liquid Glass when it first arrived on iPhone and other devices last year. The devices were plagued with transparency issues and whatnot. While Apple improved things over the year, it has now added a new Liquid Glass slider that lets you switch the transparency from clear to opaque. In other words, you can choose the amount of Liquid Glass you want to see on your iPhone instead of an on/off switch, which would only give you two choices. The sidebars now expand to the edge of the window. When you scroll the UI sideways, the refraction continues beneath the sidebar rather than being cut off at the boundary. Moreover, sidebar icons keep their color. Apple has changed the way Liquid Glass is rendered across the system. There is a separation between different layers, which makes buttons in the toolbar stand out from the background. Apple said it "deeply appreciates" the feedback it received from users and has made adjustments to Liquid Glass. New customizations allow Liquid Glass to improve contrast and enable a more vibrant appearance. The new icons have sharper edges, which addresses an old complaint that iOS 26 icons look blurry at smaller sizes. The upgraded Liquid Glass, Apple said, is building on last year's design upgrades by "integrating additional layers of Liquid Glass directly into the artwork itself." Apple's upgraded design language is available on iOS 27, which is arriving this year with no changes to the list of supported iPhones.
    • FWIW, I've been using Helium on Linux and Windows since the first time it was mentioned here. Actually, maybe a day or 3 before, as I searched for it when I saw it mentioned on the MX Linux forums. Haven't had a single issue on either OS. Not bad for a beta.
    • See up until a few years ago y'all could get away with simply denying your war crimes, pretending it never happened. Unfortunately for you, it's the 2020s and Israel's genocide has been livestreamed in real time. You have to be dumber than a rock to think anyone still believes your propaganda. See the cat is already out of the bag. The world already knows who you are so do yourself a favor and just drop the facade. Bet it gets real tiring keep track of all the lies. Take some inspiration from Israeli ministers who boast on live TV they like massacring civilians. Every zionist accusation is after all a confession.
    • He's just reporting what Microsoft posted. https://msmessagecenter.com/MC1381119 It just means that Windows Defender updates will no longer be bundled into the monthly Cumulative Windows security update and will now be a separate download. They'll still be on Microsoft update of course but now they can be released faster.
    • Apple announces iOS 27 with no changes to the list of supported iPhones by Taras Buria At WWDC 2026 in Cupertino, Apple announced iOS 27, the next mobile operating system for compatible iPhones. The update focuses on tweaking and improving last year's iOS 26, particularly in areas like app launch time, Liquid Glass design, and more. Additionally, Apple has reworked Apple Maps with a significantly enhanced Flyover view for a much more realistic view. Apple also promises better performance, smarter search, new Health features, new parental controls, and more. The most important part is that iOS 27 is compatible with all iPhones that can run iOS 26. That means that even the seven-year-old iPhone 11 can run iOS 27 (supposedly better than iOS 26). iOS 27 will be available this Fall, with the first developer betas expected later today. You can follow the live stream here.
