PSA: Free Office 365 offer ends for Lumia 640 and Lumia 735 in the US on July 31

Microsoft's Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL launched earlier this year, and a key selling point of both devices was the inclusion of a free one-year Office 365 Personal subscription, allowing you to install a copy of Office on your PC. When the Lumia 640 launched in the US, the offer was also extended to Microsoft's 'new' Lumia 735 on Verizon.

But that launch offer has already expired for buyers in the United Kingdom, and it will soon run out in the US too.

In fact, tomorrow (July 31) is the last day on which you'll be able to buy a Lumia 640 or Lumia 735 in the US to qualify for the free Office 365 sub. From August 1, all 640s and 735s sold will no longer be eligible for this freebie, worth $69.99.

If you've already bought one of the two devices in the US, don't panic - you've got until September 14 to claim your free subscription.
