There's no shortage of deals available as part of Amazon's Prime Day shopping event, but that's not the only place to get some big discounts today. The Microsoft Store is also running a special One Day Sale event today in the US, where there are various offers available.
Microsoft has already been offering substantial savings on its Surface Pro 4 in recent weeks, following the launch of its new Surface Pro tablet. Today, buyers can get an even larger discount on one model in the Pro 4 range.
The Surface Pro 4 with an Intel Core i5 (6th-gen / Skylake) processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage is usually priced at $1,199 - including a Surface Pen, but excluding the Type Cover keyboard. For today only, you can get that model for $849 - that's $350 (29%) less than its full price. At that price, it costs the same as the Core i5 model with half the RAM and storage, which is currently also $849.
Microsoft is also giving a free three-month Groove Music subscription to buyers of select Surface devices. That deal will remain available until September 17.
